Say, Jenny, and Jason were nominated by three votes each.
Cass got nine votes.

While Franzen was automatically nominated by Big Brother because of violations.

I want Franzen to go! I dont want SAY to go. Like her so much.

I think it's not looking good for Say. Like Chx, she's sort of UTR. UTRs in PBB so far gets evicted because they don't have that much followers from the audience.

I can't believe Uma's not nominated.  Angry He should be put in a BB version with HoH, Vetoes, and Nominations, because I'm sure he'll do well there. lol

(nabuhay ako!!!)

The guys are outnumbered by the ladies... These time, Franzen's chance of being evicted is very strong... and if i.e. then one and a half guys are left (considering uma as somewhat like a queer guy...)

Uma... Queer? I have no idea if he or he is not... His actions seems like he is... Even the way he speaks... Well no comment bout him...

PINOY BB - "Scripted?!"

Ok... Lot of people told me that it is scripted... Especially a friend of mine who's close with xhousemate Chx... Everything is scripted. From the grand entrance to the final 2...
Here are some of what i heard... Uma and Cass were preselected and didnt undergo audition... Say is related to Laurenti Dyogi and didnt undergo audition also... Final 2 is Say and Uma... Other housemate were given roles like Chx that she has to play the 'bitchy' one. And everyone in the BBhouse is given this big amount of money regardless of when they will be evicted or how long they will stay inside the house...

Endemol, however, reacted upon an controversial email... try reading this...

Endemol Answers Controversial Issues about PBB
Thursday, November 10, 2005 10:27 PM

Ed Sharples, Managing Director for South East Asia of Endemol, the company that owns the rights for the Big Brother series, recently visited the country and answered all the controversial questions about the number one reality TV show, Pinoy Big Brother.

In his interview, Sharples answered all the intrigues being hounded against Pinoy Big Brother such as the alleged pre-selection of Uma and Cass before the actual auditions of the show and other burning controversies.

The Controversial Email

Sharples vehemently denied rumors circulating over the internet that some of the current housemates, particularly Cass and Uma, were pre-selected and didn’t undergo the audition process.  He asserted that he was present together with other staff of Endemol when the Cass and Uma auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother.  “I was there. We went through the whole casting process when myself, Anuska Ban and Sylvia from Holland came over. Anuska has done all the casting of every Big Brother series worldwide. I’ve been involved in many castings and we sat there for two and a half days and picked the 12 housemates that you see. But I can assure you, whoever wrote that (email), it is completely untrue.”

Big Brother Rules

Sharples also clarified that Big Brother could alter the house rules on a case to case basis. “Big Brother can violate his own rules, Big Brother makes up his own rules. He is Big Brother. There are basic rules, but it’s up to Big Brother to decide what should be done if rules are violated or if the rules are broken,” He explained.

The Votes

Regarding voting results being shown in percentages instead of raw figures, according to Sharples, this is a rule being implemented by Endemol in all the Big Brother series worldwide. “It’s an Endemol rule in every single country. This is the 32nd country. All the 31 countries before the Philippines, we just show the percentages and we don’t show the exact amount of votes,” He said.

Aside from these main issues, Sharples also answered other burning questions on Pinoy Big Brother point by point. You can watch his interview by clicking on this link.

Here’s the transcription of Ed Sharples' interview:

Q: How involved is Endemol with the day to day operations of Pinoy Big Brother?

Sharples: Fully. We never give away any of our licenses or any of our formats and just give them and let them run with it. We are involved from start to finish.

Q: Were Uma and Cass pre-selected?

Sharples: No, absolutely not. I was there. We went through the whole casting process when myself, Anuska Ban and Sylvia from Holland came over. Anuska had done all the casting of every Big Brother series worldwide. I’ve been involved in many castings and we sat there for two and a half days and picked the 12 housemates that you see. But I can assure you, whoever wrote that, it’s completely untrue.

Q: Why did Big Brother allow Jenny to go back?

Sharples: Well, we’ve had this situation a couple of times, our people (housemates), unfortunately being ill or just personally wanting to leave the house. It’s a great idea, it’s a nice idea to have the public vote for some housemates that have already been evicted. I think that what was shown here, is very much of the Filipino mentality, which is very nice. They voted for Jenny because she had to leave because her father was ill. We do that in many countries.

Q:  Why does Big Brother allow automatic nominations?

Sharples: First is that we have to establish the rules quite quickly, when the housemates go in, to make them behave themselves. Now, Rico did do some serious things. The fire was quite a serious issue. And the microphones, we are very strict with the microphones, so he was up for nomination just to make a point that you’ve got to play by the rules. Again, with Franzen, Franzen broke the rules too many times. Small little rules, so again he was up for nomination to show the others that you have to abide by the rules. Now, Chx pestering Jenny, she should have known better. They’ve been in the house for some time at that point. Chx pestered her for too long. If she just asked her a couple of questions and let it go, we would have let that go. But she kept on pestering and pestering for hours and Jenny was very good. Jenny said no I can’t tell you, it’s the rules. So that was a serious break of the rules. The most recent one that we had, obviously is Franzen with a note for Jason. We haven’t evicted him from the house since they were not conniving or they weren’t scheming on the note, he was just writing a support for Jason. Although it was a serious break of the rules so he’s up for nomination.

Q: Why does Big Brother allow contact with the outside world?

Sharples: These guys and girls, when they went in to the house, they’re just normal people. They are unaware of how popular the show is becoming and how famous they’re becoming. And this is what we have to keep. So when they do come out, it’ll be a complete surprise for them. That’s why there’s no contact to the outside world. To have contact with the child for 100 seconds, we love this Idea. This is an idea that was brought up by ABS-CBN and they contacted us Endemol, “look we have this idea.” We thought that it’s great idea. It creates emotion, it creates drama, it creates tension, it creates sadness within the housemates, I mean if you look at the emotion of Jason when he met his child for 100 seconds. We’re not telling them what’s going on in the outside world. We’re just basically teasing them with little bits and pieces.

Q: How does Pinoy Big Brother differ from the other Big Brothers Worldwide?

Sharples: In terms of Big Brother itself, the rules and the setup, Big Brother Philippines is very similar to every other country. Big Brother 1, Big Brother 2, Big Brother 3, they all change and evolve and you’ll see different things. We have certain countries where Big Brother is huge like Australia, Brazil and UK. These are all the countries where Big Brother has been absolutely enormous. And I think that we can compare the Philippines to that. I think that we can compare the popularity and excitement of Pinoy Big Brother to these countries. In terms of the production and the standard of Big Brother here, of Big Brother one series, is as good as we’ve had in any other country. It compares to any other Big Brother that we do in any other country and it’s better than a lot.

Q: Has Big Brother always been controversial?

Sharples:  Well you guys have done a lot more in season one than all of the other countries have done by season 3. I think you had more here, quicker. We really didn’t hit these kinds of controversies in UK until season 3 or series 2. So I think you had your fair share and that has created the awareness, which is great.

Q: Why are the voting results in percentages not raw figures?

Sharples:  It’s an Endemol rule in every single country. This is the 32nd country. All the 31 countries before the Philippines, we just show the percentages and we don’t show the exact amount of votes

Q: Why does Big Brother violate his own rules?

Sharples:  Big Brother can violate his own rules, Big Brother makes up his own rules. He’s Big Brother. There basic rules, but it’s up to Big Brother to decide what should be done if rules are violated or if the rules are broken. So it completely depends and it’s all done in conjunction between Endemol and ABS-CBN.

Q: Is Endemol Negotiation with other networks:

Sharples:  We are very happy with ABS-CBN. Endemol is very happy with the partnership of Pinoy Big Brother with ABS-CBN and we're having no discussion with anyone else for licensing Big Brother in the Philippines.

Sharples' message to Filipinos

Thank you for debating it and getting so passionate about it. We hope you’re enjoying it. It’s not scripted, no dirty things happened during the casting. It was cast purely from do you want to come and join, come and meet us we’ll pick you. Keep on watching we hope you’re enjoying it.

Anyone who would think any version of BB is scripted would be nuts. No one would be able to remember 24 hours worth of script in the first place. There's live feeds! lol

Yeah, nice one Heather...

Jenny has been evicted in the house by garnering only 4% of the votes.
This is a shocker because Jenny was brought back by the people in the house after she voluntarily exit when her dad passed away. Now, the people did not save her.

Say, Cass, Jason, Franzen, Uma and Nene are the Final Six. There are only 27 days till Finale!!!

I was sad that Jenny was evicted.  Cry It was shocking indeed. Maybe Say's family is rich and they bought alot of the votes themselves...
