Making the Band

I just noticed that Shannon,  one of the finalist from "FAME," is now on MTV's Making the Band.  
The odd thing about this is both shows use Johnny Wright as a judge.  Johnny Wright offered her a contract when she was on FAME so I find it wierd that she is now a contestant in a show which he is involved in the decision making.
