Teams figured out the clue in the following order:
Lena and Kristy
Uchenna and Joyce
Kami and Karli
Wanda and Desiree
Joseph and Monica
Nancy and Emily
Chip and Kim

Clue: Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam and the Old Quarter. Use the motor scooters provided to drive to the Hoa Lo Prison for your next clue.

NOTE: aLEXANDER AND t CORRECTLY IDENTIFIED THE CLUE AND CHOSE TO HELP LENA AND KRISTY & JOSEPH AND MONICA RESPECTIVLY. THOSE TEAMS WILL RECIEVE A TIME CREDIT AT THE END OF THE LEG.

Detour: Take It (+10) or Eat It (+5)

Take It: In Take it, teams will make their way to the Flag Tower of Hanoi and take a picture of the Vietnamese flag located on the top of the tower. Then teams will need to take it to the Temple of Literature for their next clue.

Eat It: In Eat it, teams will need to find the marked restaurant along the red river. Both team members will need to eat a plate with Thit cho (dog meat) and belostomatid (giant water bug) for their next clue.

VOTE FOR THE ORDER OF HOW THE TEAMS FINISH THE DETOUR. NOTIFY WHICH DETOUR OPTION THEY CHOOSE.

Leg 12

This is Haiphong, a major city in North Vietnam which also provides as an important seaport for the region. Located on the bank of the Gulf of Tonkin is the Bay of the Descending Dragon, considered by some as the eighth wonder of the world. This was the eleventh pit stop in a race around the world.

Teams left in the following order:
Lena and Kristy (2:34 AM)
Uchenna and Joyce (2:44 AM)
Joseph and Monica (2:49 AM)
Wanda and Desiree (3:04 AM)
Kami and Karli (3:05 AM)
Nancy and Emily (3:12 AM)

Clue: Make your way back to Hanoi and find the Thang Long Water Puppet Theater. Once there, use the given puppets to put on a show for your next clue.
