LEG 3 RECAP

Previously on Popos The Amazing Race Fantasy Challenge, 9 teams of 2 flew from Manila, Philippines to Tokyo, Japan. Arriving at Tokyo, there was no time for sightseeing, as teams have to proceed to the Shibuya Crossing and find their next clue at Hachiko.

Redwings and Mr Tyler, wgal and xxsolitudexx and Xochitl and MK caught an early break as they arrived at Hachiko before the other teams and snatched the three earliest departure time on the next morning at 9.00am. Heather and Popit, Jonty and Odvesims as well as TARfan1 and Avarim had no choice but to settle for the last departure time at 9.20am. Teams received a shock when Mr Tyler revealed that hes/shes actually a transvestite, but only to find out that hes/shes just kidding. (But who knows?)

On the next morning, the leading three teams ripped open their next clue to find a Detour, where they had to choose between History or Geography. Xochitl and MK gained a huge lead when they became the only team to choose the better Detour, while all other 8 teams chose to go for Geography. While JP and username did well at Geography, it was sun7kid and el_sheik_doufa who completed the Detour last, hence putting them squarely in last place.

However, Xochitl and MKs lead was short-termed as they chose to take a Bus to Ueno Park to save more money, therefore allowing wgal and xxsolitudexx who chose to take a taxi to overtake them. But it was Genius and Amarillo who arrived at Ueno Park in last place, where all other 8 teams had already arrived and performing their Roadblock task, which was to play a game of Sudoku. While Redwings did well at the Roadblock and pushed their team to the top of the pack, Odvesims and Heather encountered problems at the Roadblock and caused their team to fall behind.

Completing the Roadblock in first place, Redwings and Mr Tyler received their next clue, which instructed them to take a marked car to Meiji Shrine, the third pitstop of the race around the world. Finishing the Roadblock seconds after Redwings, Xochitl and wgal made the battle for first place even more intense. In the end, it was wgal and xxsolitudexx who came in first, while Xochitl and MK recovered from their leg 2 mistakes and came in second. Redwings and Mr Tyler came in third, while TARfan1 and Avarim was the fourth team to arrive.

JP and username, Heather and Popit and sun7kid and el_sheik_doufa came in fifth, sixth and seventh placing respectively thus putting the risk of elimination down to the two teams remaining who still have not checked-in Genius and Amarillo as well as Jonty and Odvesims. In a footrace to the pitstop, Genius and Amarillo stepped on the mat first before Jonty and Odvesims, thus coming in eighth place. Jonty and Odvesims waited for Popo to break the bad news to them, not expecting that what Popo had for them was actually something good. Popo then told both of them that because TARfan1 and Avarim chose not to complete the Roadblock, therefore they are actually the eighth team to arrive.

Because all the teams checked-in within the time range of their penalty period, TARfan1 and Avarim became the third team to be eliminated from Popos The Amazing Race Fantasy Challenge. On their experience, TARfan1 had no regrets to run the race with Avarim. Avarim and TARfan1 then promised that they would return for the second season and kick some ass.

8 teams remain, who will be eliminated NEXT?

Concuerde - nosotros nos pusimos necesitamos ser rendido. Sin embargo, nosotros quizás seamos si nosotros no estamos en cuando el rendimiento sube. Quizá saliendo de Asia y en otro continente nos ayudará. También, nosotros quizás retrocedamos en la primera maldición del lugar si ganamos otra pierna. Ha habido los equipos que han entrado en el final tres sin ganar una sola pierna en la carrera.
