Final Elimination Pit Stop

I am now standing in front of the glass pyramid of Louvre, the final elimination pit stop in the race around the world. Last team checking in here WILL be eliminated.

Splatt/Alexander, you are first team to arrive. However, you failed to complete the Detour, therefore a 2-hour penalty will be imposed on you. Please step off the mat. (2:20PM -> 4:20PM)

Zach/redwings8831, you are team number ONE!!! (2:25PM) Congrates! You are first team to qualify into the finale!!!

zach: *hugs redwings*

redwings: *throws a chocolate bar into mid-air and zach catches it*

I still have a good news for you guys, being the winner of this leg of the race, you will have a 2-minute real time bonus at the finale.

ROAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm kind of at a loss for words. I didn't think that we would actually make it to the final three. We were always at the back! But now that we made it, I feel that my "stressed up" moments were all worth it. Those minutes I spent swearing at Wikipedia for not having the answers that I wanted, cracking my brains to complete BOTH Detour tasks everytime on my own, complaining that it's soooooo unfair that the clues are always up in the morning and I could only come on in the evening 'cos school always ends late, getting so demoralised when I look at the Leaderboard and realise that despite trying all I could to make up some time, we're STILL in last place. There was this time I wanted to quit the game! But it would be totally irresponsible of me to do so. Hee, I'm just glad we made it into the finals! MY EFFORTS WERE WORTH IT!!!!! Okay, this is a little exaggerated. But... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *hysterical, Ruth gone mad*
