The deadline for the Roadblock has passed.

Teams then had to go to the Teleferico Station at the Avila.

INTERSECTION
An intersection is when two teams go together to do tasks.

Please post on the thread who to pair up with

TEAM 1

DETOUR
A detour is a choice between two tasks each with it's own pros and cons. For this detour, teams must choose between Search Low and Search High. In Search Low, teams must search a marked section of the Avila for a clue envelope. In Search High, teams must search the skies for an aeroplane with a banner on the back with the next clue on it.

SEARCH LOW task: How much does it cost to take the teleferico up AND down combined?
SEARCH HIGH task: How many different South American countries has Amazing Race visited?

FAST FORWARD
This is the last fast Forward on the entire race. Any team can claim this with their intersection partners. FOr this Fast Forward, teams must go to the Statue of Simon Bolivar.

TASK=Pm the Description of La Plaza Bolivar on Wikitravel.

NOTE=Both intersection partners have to do the ff to claim it

I could actually be in front of Liz even with the fast foward. this is because Tyler and I were on the faster flight. I did the roadblock followed by Tyler and you and verysmiley in last. That means that all there was left for the leg was the fast foward and the detour. Verysmiley and I were the first team done with the detour and you and Tyler were the first done with the fast foward. That means that, in terms of minutes, either Tyler or I are in first and you and verysmiley are probally farther behind.

Jake, it was all equalized at the flight so me and you were tied at the flight and liz and smiley were tied. I'm sure you completed the roadblock before me but I will have gotten (another) FF so I don't think it matters. Hopefully Liz and I can both win the leg. Cheesy
