RACE INFORMATION:
 
# of Rounds: There will be 16 rounds in this race, with the final round taking place with the final 3 teams.
 
# of Questions: Each round will have 10 - 20 questions, with the final round having more. Types of questions include multiple choice, true/false, short answer, fill in the blank, and occasionally questions which may require longer answers (short essay).
 
Scoring: Each question has a specific point value. You are ranked by the total number of points to get in each round. If there is a tie in points, the tie-breaker is based on time, meaning how quickly you send in your answers. YOU CAN ONLY SEND IN YOUR ANSWERS ONCE.
 
Amazing Race Elements: All questions will be about the Amazing Race. Most of the questions will be from information regarding the American Edition of the show. However, some questions will be from TAR Asia and other factors about the show. Along with the questions, other ideas from TAR will be involved.  
 
Detour: There will be a detour on some legs of the race. In this task, you will have a choice on answering a set of questions regarding a specific topic in the Amazing Race. There are 4 detours on this race.
 
Fast Forward: If you take the fast forward, you will receive 5 additional points. You will have to complete a task in order to win the fast forward. There will be 4 fast forwards and you can only take the fast forward once in the race.
 
Intersection: There will be 2 intersections in the race. For this task, you will work with another user and your two scores will be added together.
 
Yield: There will be 3 yields in the race. If you are yielded, 3 points will be deducted from your score.
 
Non Elimination Leg: If you are last in a NEL and don't finish first in the next leg, 4 points will be deducted from your score, thus hurting your chances to stay in the race. There are 2 NEL's on this race.
