I am standing here watching over Central Park in New York City. From this area, 11 teams will embark on a race around the world for 1 million dollars. Buses are transporting these teams to the starting point.

Hello teams.

In a few moments you will depart on a race around the world. Along your journey you will encounter tasks, some easy, some difficult. At the end of each leg there is a pitstop. 8 of these 13 pitstops are elimination points so you have to get to them as fast as you can because if you're last you may be eliminated. Sitting over there are your bags. When I say go you will run over to your bags, open the clue, and get into one of the marked cars.

The World is waiting.
