First, the function of the pump house
Pump house is a building that installs pumps, motors, pumps, control cabinets and other auxiliary equipment. It is the main body of pump station engineering. Its main role is to provide good working conditions for pump units, auxiliary equipment and operation management personnel. The form and arrangement of the pumping station and the water outlet building are determined by the different form of the pump house. The rational design of the pump house is of great significance to saving the investment of the project, prolonging the service life of the equipment, and ensuring the safe and economical operation.
Two. The structural form of the pump house
There are many structural forms of the pump house, which are divided into two categories: the fixed pump house and the mobile pump house according to the movement of the pump house. According to its basic structure, the fixed pump house is divided into four structural forms, which are divided base type, dry room type, wet room type and block base type. The mobile pump house is divided into two types according to the different mobile mode, which are floating boat and cable car. This chapter mainly describes the form, structural features, applicable conditions, internal layout and size determination of the pump room in the fixed pump house.
