There are various forms of nickel alloy products available in the market, including medium plate, sheet, strip, pipe, joint and forgings. The ASTM specification for part of the product is listed in Table 5. Some nickel alloys and casting products usually have different characteristics from forging products.
Nickel alloys are generally classified according to their main alloy components. The following is a brief introduction of nickel alloys widely used in chemical equipment.
Pure nickel pure nickel (alloy 200) has very good corrosion resistance to various reducing acids and salts, but it is not suitable for strong oxidizing medium such as nitric acid. The most important characteristic of pure nickel is its incomparable ability to resist caustic soda and even caustic corrosion in molten state. Although pure nickel has a very high corrosion resistance in dry halogen media, its corrosion resistance is not enough below the dew point. For applications with a temperature exceeding 600, it is best to use alloy 200 derived from low carbon nickel 201 (UNSUO2201).
The corrosion resistance of Ni Cu alloy 400 is the same as nickel, and the corrosion resistance of Ni Cu alloy 400 is best under reductive medium, and the corrosion resistance of gas and oxidizing chemicals is unfavorable. Alloy 400 has excellent resistance to halogenate and halide corrosion, especially hydrofluoric acid and high temperature gas containing fluorine or hydrogen fluoride. This alloy is widely used in the treatment of sulfuric acid solution, sea water and brine. For high strength purposes, such as valves and pump parts, alloy K-500 (NO5500) is often used as a precipitation hardening derivative of alloy 400.
The addition of chromium to Ni Cr Fe alloy 600 in nickel matrix expands the applicability of alloy 600 in oxidizing environment. Alloy 600, although its corrosion resistance to inorganic acids is medium, its corrosion resistance to organic acids is very good, so it is widely used in the processing of fatty acids. Alloy 600 is also widely used in the production and storage of hydroxide and alkaline chemicals.
Alloy 600 is also an excellent material for high temperature applications with both heat and corrosion resistance requirements. The excellent performance of the alloy under high temperature halogen environment makes it an ideal material for organic chlorination process. Alloy 600 also exhibits excellent anti oxidation properties such as oxidation resistance, carburizing resistance and nitriding resistance.
Ni Cr Mo alloy 625 addition of molybdenum in Ni Cr Alloys increases the corrosion resistance of materials to oxidation and reductive inorganic acids and salts. Molybdenum has the ability to resist chloride ion pitting and crevice corrosion. Alloy 625 is a kind of high strength material with excellent fatigue resistance. Alloy 625LCF is a derivative of alloy 625. The bellows are specially designed with excellent resistance to low cycle fatigue and heat-resistant fatigue. Like alloy 600, alloy 625 is used as corrosion resistant material and heat resistant material. The excellent high temperature strength, halogen resistance, antioxidation and anti carburizing properties of alloy 625 make it an ideal material for chemical and petrochemical equipment operating under the harsh high temperature environment.Precio de mercado para el tubo de acero inoxidable de 15 mm
Ni Cr Alloy 690 Alloy 690 is the highest chromium content in nickel alloy used for pressure equipment manufacturing, and has strong corrosion resistance to oxidizing medium. It can be effectively applied to hot concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid and nitric acid / hydrofluoric acid mixed acid and oxidizing salt medium. High chromium content also enhances the corrosion resistance of the material in high temperature vulcanizing environment.
Nickel chromium alloy 825 alloy 825 is sometimes included in the super austenitic stainless steel series because the alloy contains nearly 30% iron. It performs well in sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid medium, similar to alloy 20. The main purpose of developing them is to use sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid medium. Although alloy 825 is capable of hydrochloric acid corrosion, it is prone to chloride ion pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in non flowing and airless solutions. Alloy 825 has high iron content, so its corrosion resistance to alkali and halogen is lower than that of nickel alloy.
The corrosion resistance of Ni Cr Fe Mo "G" alloy G-3 exceeds that of alloy 400, alloy 600 and alloy 825 in many applications. This alloy is particularly resistant to corrosion of sulphuric acid and impure phosphoric acid, and it can withstand two kinds of medium conditions, reduction and oxidation. The developed alloy G-30 has better welding performance and corrosion resistance, especially the corrosion resistance of weld heat affected zone.
Ni Cr Mo "C" alloy C-276 is an excellent alloy material used in the chemical industry to cope with extremely corrosive medium conditions (beyond the capacity of stainless steel). It has excellent corrosion resistance in various acids, acid salts and other kinds of corrosive chemicals. Alloy C-276 performs well in harsh environments such as wet chlorine and hypochlorite. Because of its high C-276 molybdenum content, it has excellent corrosion resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion caused by chloride. The process of seeking material better than the alloy C-276's metallurgical properties and corrosion resistance has promoted the development and commercialization of several patent "C" series alloys, which are alloys C-22, 622, 59, 686 and C-2000. The molybdenum content of these alloys is approximately equal, and the chromium content is much higher than that of alloy C-276. Some brands also contain tungsten or copper. The effects of these minor alloying elements on metallurgical properties and corrosion resistance are complex.Nimonic PK33 Polished Rod China Fabricante
Ni Mo "B" alloy B-2 has a prominent corrosion resistance to reduced sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and hydrochloric acid. It is especially suitable for all hydrochloric acid equipment with high concentration and boiling point. Oxidizing chemicals have an adverse effect on the corrosion resistance of the alloy, especially the strong oxidants such as iron ions and copper ions as impurities in the solution. The alloy B-3 and alloy B-4 developed later were better than those of alloy B-2. One of the advantages of these new brands is to minimize the poor micromachining.
