I love this show. My favourite season so far has been Season 4 when Carrie Underwood won, mostly because I'm a country lover. I also love Kellie Picklers CD (the girl from season 5)... It's such a fun show to watch them sing

I thought that after Kelly Clarkson won, no one would be able to match her talent and ability actually to do well in the music industry. We all gotta agree, like her or hate her, that Kelly Clarkson is one of the two most successful singer from American Idol. Clay Aiken may have been good, but I don't care too much for him and he is not the other person I am talking about. It's Carrie Underwood. I don't listen to her and I don't like country music, but her CD Some Hearts has done extremely well. It was the #1 album of 2006 (#2 was the soundtrack to High School Musical. HOORAY! lol). And it is currently the 19th best selling album right now. But the this week and last week don't really count since two weeks ago, the #1 album sold around 350,000 copies. Last week, #1 sold 120,000, and this week, #1 sold only 66,000 copies. But two weeks ago, Some Hearts was the #4 album of that week. So while I am not fond of the genre she performs in, she is just as successful as Kelly Clarkson.

ANYWAY lol, since Carrie won Season 4 and this upcoming season is the 6th one, I will give it a shot since Carrie won fairly recently. Taylor, Katherine, and Chris could all do really well also since their albums are fairly new. So I will give this season a shot since I really haven't been dedicated to the show since Season 1. I like watching the auditions, so I will watch those. But then I will skip the rest of the season until it gets to the finalists where the competition really starts. Then hopefully a good singer will be crowned!

EDIT: This last part could have been a spoiler so I removed it.

You are right Neo-LJB, Carrie is doing very well. She has won many awards and her record is doing fantastic. I posted a link to CMT if any of you want to look futher, and she just how successful she has become.
