My Amazing Race

I have never done this before, so I hope you like it. If I get enough readers I will start viewer imput, of where to go, who gets eliminated or first etc.

Team One:
Greg and Scott, 28& 25- Business Students

Team Two
Michelle and Samuel, 54&58- Dating Single Parents

John and Abby, 69& 21- Grandfather and Granddaughter

Genevieve and Daniel- 22&25 Engaged

Team Five
Angelia and Ashley- 28&29 Sisters

Team Six
Haley and Ryan- 25&26 Newlyweds

Team Seven
Kyle and Jason- 52&25 Father and Son

Team Eight
Sarah and Megan- 45&42 Neighbors

Team Nine
Jack and Elizabeth- 65&62 Married Grandparents

Team Ten
Yvonne and Tyler- 35&39 Cousins

Team Eleven
Kaitlin and Christopher- 33&40 In Laws

Eleven teams will battle it out through thick and thin to win 1 000 000$. This time the race will be starting in New York City at Central Park. The eleven teams are waiting at the starting line for Phil to say Go. Perhaps the most interesting combination this season is the grandparent-grandchild team or the team of a sister and brother in law. Sixty feet away the teams see their bags with the first clue set on top. Phil looks at all the teams and gives his normal blurb then states Ready, Set.GO.

Newlyweds Haley and Ryan reach their bag first, while father-son team takes a slow lead after Jason trips on his laces. Haley rips open the first clue that says Take one of the marked cars and drive to LaGuardia Airport. There arrange a flight to Madrid Spain Ryan is excited to go to Spain since he speaks Spanish fluently. They grab their bags and run to where the parked cars are. Jack and Elizabeth the married grandparents are the second team to run to the cars. Yvonne and Tyler read the clue wrong and set out for Kennedy Airport.

At the airport Haley and Ryan found a flight leaving for Madrid 2 hours after an earlier advertised one, but gets there earlier since it flies lower and is a direct flight. Genevieve and Daniel snag this flight as well and start talking to Haley and Ryan. Daniel and Ryan find humor when they see four teams pick up their boarding passes for the earlier flight that has a layover in Dublin Ireland. John and Abby, the grandfather and granddaughter find a third flight that leaves an hour after the original one but gets in thirty minutes early, still later than the flight Haley, Ryan, Daniel, and Genevieve are on. Eventually ten teams are at the airport with respective tickets. Greg and Scott wonder where the 11th team is. Forty-five minutes later Yvonne and Tyler arrive at the airport and snag tickets on the first flight.

Flight One- leaving at 3pm arriving in Ireland at 830pm- leaving Ireland at 1030pm arriving in Spain at 1am EST or 7am Madrid time
Yvonne and Tyler, Kaitlin and Christopher, Greg and Scott, Sarah and Megan, Kyle and Jason, Angelia and Ashley

Flight Two- leaving at 4pm arriving in London at 930pm, leaving London at 1030pm arriving in Spain at 1230AM (or 630am Madrid Time)
John and Abby, Jack and Elizabeth, Michelle and Samuel

Flight Three- Leaving at 5pm arriving in Madrid at 11pm (or 5am Madrid time)
Daniel and Genevieve, Haley and Ryan

Daniel, Genevieve, Haley and Ryan are the first to arrive in Madrid at 445am, 15 minutes ahead of schedule. They over hear that the flight from Dublin has been delayed an hour because of bad weather. Haley, Ryan, Daniel, and Genevieve have decided to form a sort of alliance and help each other out, but agree that in the end they are competition.

Genevieve reads the first clue again which says Once at the airport find the bus labeled Centro and take the bus to the Centro, at the Centro find the route marker for your next clue. Ryan goes to a help counter to find out where the bus is and is given the directions to the bus stop. Ryan, Haley, Daniel and Genevieve just make on the 530am bus and are on their way to the Centro

Meanwhile in John, Abby, Jack, Elizabeth, Michelle, and Samuel are on the plane from London heading to Madrid wondering where the other teams are. The teams in Dublin are devastated to find out their flight will not be leaving until midnight, putting them 1.5 hours behind. Kaitlin and Christopher walk around on their own knowing that one of these teams could be eliminated, but wonder where the other 5 teams are. Sarah, Megan, Greg and Scott talk about how they still left 2 hours earlier so they should still arrive around the same time in Madrid, not knowing that the other teams had better flights.

After a 50 minute bus ride Haley, Ryan, Daniel and Genevieve arrive at El Centro. The Centro is huge and they decide to all split up to look for the clue box. After fifteen minutes Haley spots the clue box and takes the clue for her and Ryan, she calls Genevieve over who picks up the 2nd clue.

Detour Bulls or Bake
In Bulls the team members have to make their way 1 mile to a bullring and with a trainer work in a bull ring and take part in a tradition Bull race. This task is not hard with the trainer, but does require fear to be put on the table. In Bake teams have to search the center for the ingredients for Paella and then bring them to the nearby diner, give the food to the owner and watch him make Paella.

Haley and Ryan decide to do the bull riding while Daniel and Genevieve decide to do Bake.

As the two teams head off to the detour, John and Abby, Jack and Elizabeth, Michelle and Samuel are headed towards the bus to El Centro. John and Abby are the first to arrive at the bus and manage to squeeze on the bus leaving at 7am while Jack, Elizabeth, Michelle and Samuel are forced to wait for the 730 bus. Both teams think they are in last place and realize it could come down to a foot race to the end. The teams on the Dublin flight are starting to board, putting them further behind, but they still think they are going to all arrive at the same time as the other flights.

Haley and Ryan have difficulty completing their task, while Daniel and Genevieve rush through their task. As Daniel and Genevieve are leaving the Centro they see the bus with John and Abby arrive. On the 730 bus Jack, Elizabeth, Michelle and Samuel admire the scenery. On the Dublin flight Angelia and Ashley decide to ask a local sitting nearby where the bus station is at the airport so they wont have to spend time looking for it.

Daniel and Genevieve open their next clue. Find your way back to the airport and find the counter that will have three charter flights to Cordoba. One flight leaves at noon, the next leaves at 130 and the last leaves at 2pm. The first flight holds three teams, the second holds 4 teams, and the third holds 4 teams. After an hour and a half Haley and Ryan finally finish their task and are on their way back to the airport. John and Abby decided to do Bake, along with Michelle, Samuel, and Jack and Elizabeth.

Daniel and Genevieve arrive at the airport just before 10 am and Genevieve notices the Dublin flight teams racing to find the bus. Genevieve decides to tuck so the other teams wont notice them. Daniel and Genevieve sign up for the first flight, at 1115 am Haley and Ryan sign up for the first flight, followed by John and Abby. Angelia and Ashley just make it on the 10am bus with Kaitlin and Christopher while the rest have to wait until 1030. Angelia and Ashley do Bulls, Kaitlin and Christopher do Bake. Michelle and Samuel, and Jack and Elizabeth are on the 2nd flight. Yvonne and Tyler, Greg and Scott, Sarah and Megan, Kyle and Jason all do Bulls.

Flight One is: Daniel and Genevieve, Haley and Ryan and John Abby. They leave before most of the teams have even arrived.

Flight Two is: Michelle and Samuel, Jack and Elizabeth, Angelia and Ashley, and Kaitlin and Christopher

Flight Three is: Yvonne and Tyler, Greg and Scott, Kyle and Jason, and Sarah and Megan

Greg is shocked when they arrived at the airport at 1245 and hear the 1st flight has already landed and Greg and Scott were the last team to arrive at the airport.

Once in Cordoba the teams are instructed to walk outside the airport to the route marker at the entrance. Daniel and Genevieve are the first to arrive with Haley, Ryan, and John and Abby right behind. Roadblock: In this roadblock one team member has to take the marked van and drive into the city of Cordoba and find the Muslim mosque in the photo given with the clue. Once they find the mosque they are to park the car and go into the Mosque. They will show the photo the man inside and if the correct mosque they will receive their next clue and drive back to the airport to pick up their team member. It seems easy but Cordoba has a lot of mosques and finding the right one may be difficult. Haley, Abby and Daniel all decide to do the task.

Abby, a religion student has lucks and finds the correct mosque first in record time, followed by Haley a few minutes later. Daniel is struggling to find the correct mosque. Abby and Haley arrive virtually at the same time to their team members and read their clue Find your way to the pit stop at El Sol Hotel. The last team to arrive may be eliminated. Meanwhile the rest of the teams are still at the airport with the 2nd flight preparing to board. Greg fills the time by showing off his yoga to the bystanders. Sarah wonders if they can still win and Kyle is just happy to be in Spain.

Phil is waiting on the mat and sees two teams racing together for the first place finish.
Abby and John jump on the mat first seconds in front of Ryan and Haley.

Congratulations John and Abby you are team number one. Haley and Ryan you are team number two.

Fifteen minutes later Daniel and Genevieve arrive as team number three

On the second flight: Michelle, Jack, Ashley, and Kaitlin do the roadblock

Angelia and Ashley are team number four, followed by Jack and Elizabeth as team five, Kaitlin and Christopher as team six and Michelle and Samuel as team seven

On the third flight: Yvonne, Greg, Jason, and Megan do the Roadblock
Greg and Scott are team number eight, Megan and Sarah are team number nine and Kyle and Jason are team number ten. Yvonne struggled finding the rest mosque.

I thought it would be interesting to have that as a team. I have been working a lot and doing summer school so I should have a new one up soon. Thanks for the positive comments

John and Abby were the first team to arrive at the pit stop at 215pm and will be the first to depart at 215 am, along with Haley and Ryan who arrived seconds behind.
Drive yourselves to the Cordoba Airport and purchase tickets for a flight to Barcelona. Once in Barcelona look for the Route marker for your next clue. Haley and Ryan were the first to arrive at the airport at 230am, just as Daniel and Genevieve departed the pit stop. Ryan snagged tickets for a 330am flight. Normally flights dont leave until at least 530am but for some reason there is a 330 flight going to Barcelona. John and Abby were lucky to be able to get tickets with Haley and Ryan. Daniel and Genevieve took a wrong turn and ending up getting lost, allowing 4th place team Angelia and Ashley to arrive at the airport at 315 in 3rd place. Ashley managed to get on the 330 flight. Just as the three teams were boarding the plane, Jack and Elizabeth arrived at the airport and managed to get on the 330 flight. At 345 Daniel and Genevieve arrived at the airport and bought tickets for the 530am flight much to their dismay. Kaitlin and Christopher arrived at 350 followed by Michelle and Samuel at 4am who all managed to get on the 530 flight. At 430 Greg and Scott arrived followed by Megan, Sarah, Kyle and Jason who all bought tickets for the 530 flight.

At 415 in the morning the first flight arrived. Angelia and Ashley found the clue box first
Make your way to Rome, ItalyHaley and Ryan found the clue box second, followed by Jack and Elizabeth and John and Abby. Haley, Ryan, John and Abby all decided to split up and find the earliest and best flight to Rome, while Jack and Elizabeth checked the departure board to see which flight would be leaving first. Angelia and Ashley went to a ticket counter and bought tickets for the earliest flight which departs at 7am without looking for other flights. At 445 Haley, Ryan, John and Abby met back and discovered a flight that leaves at 715am and arrives at 820am, while the 7am flight arrives at 845. The two teams snagged tickets on the 715 flight. Jack and Elizabeth bought tickets for the 7am flight. As the other teams arrived they realized they only had a short time to find a flight, Daniel decided to take the first flight they could find to ensure they had tickets because they didnt have time to waste. All the teams on the 530 flight bought tickets for the 7am flight except for Kaitlin and Christopher who were told the flight was full and were put on the 715 am flight.

At 645am the first 7 teams started boarding their flight. Kaitlin and Christopher were pleased when Haley informed them they were on a faster flight. At 715 all teams were on their way to Italy.

At 810 am the second flight landed 10 minutes ahead of schedule. Once the teams were in Rome they were to make their way to Vatican City. Abby had luck getting a cab right away while Kaitlin and Christopher struggled. Haley found out from someone on the plane that a bus comes at 830 that goes straight to the Vatican. At 840 Haley and Ryan arrived at the Vatican in 1st place and found the next clue. Roadblock: In this roadblock one team member has to look through the church for a special cross which will have a Bible verse written on it in Latin. They have to take the Cross and place it on the stand underneath the appropriate Bible Verse in English. Once they have correctly completed the task they will be given the next clue. Ryan decided to do this roadblock. Abby and John were surprised when they saw Ryan and Haley had already arrived. Abby decided to the roadblock. Ryan found the cross but struggled with finding the right verse in English. Abby completed the roadblock quickly haven taken 2 years of Latin. Catch the bus to the train station, once at the train station purchase tickets for a train going to Milan. Shortly after Abby finished the roadblock Kaitlin and Christopher arrived with Kaitlin doing the roadblock. Just as Kaitlin started Ryan finished and Haley and Ryan were off to the bus stop.

Angelia and Ashley got lost trying to find the way out of the airport while Sarah and Megan decided to take the bus. Jack and Elizabeth followed Sarah and Megan and snagged seats on the bus. Daniel and Genevieve found a cab shortly after Greg and Scott found one. Kyle and Jason found a cab shortly after. Michelle and Samuel decided to take the bus as well.

John and Abby managed to get on the train that was departed at 10 along with Haley and Ryan. Kaitlin and Christopher arrived at the train station at 10am just as the train was departing, but bought tickets for the 11am train. They realize that it doesnt matter that they missed the first train because only two teams are ahead of them, they are not in last.
Elizabeth, Scott, Kyle, Michelle, Sarah, and Genevieve decided to do the Roadblock while Angelia and Ashley finally find a cab to the Vatican. At 1045 Kaitlin and Christopher are joined by Greg and Scott, Michelle and Samuel, Sarah and Megan, Genevieve and Daniel, Jack and Elizabeth, and Jason and Kyle. At 1055 Angelia and Ashley arrive just squeezing on the train, bringing the 8 teams to equal ground.

At 1215pm John, Abby, Haley and Ryan arrive in Milan. Abby spots the clue box from the train and rushes to it followed by Ryan and Haley. Detour: Clothes or Cash? Here teams decide between clothes or cash. In clothes the teams have to go to a factory where Fashion show clothes are being designed. They are to put on an outfit that is displayed and find the matching the set. Then they are to bring it to the runway at the front of the factory. They are to walk down the runway like a model, once the photographer at the end has received the extra set of outfits from both team members they will receive their next clue. In Cash teams have to work cash in a popular Italian restaurant. Once they have made 500Euro they will receive their next clue. Depending on the time of day this challenge can go relatively quickly. Haley realizes that lunch is not usually eaten until around 1 or 2 and it could take a lot to make the money and so they decide to do Clothes. John and Abby also decide to do clothes. Haley and Ryan find the female dress relatively quickly while John and Abby struggle. Ryan spots his outfit almost right away and completes the task just as John finds the female dress. Ryan and Haley are given the next clue Make your way one mile to the Pit stop at Pace Plaza.

At 1pm Haley and Ryan race on to the pit sop mat. Phil looks at them and says Haley, Ryan congratulations youre team number One. Youve done well the first two races, congratulations. What do you have in store if you win the million? Haley explains well we just got married and have some student loans to pay off. We want to buy a house and then start a family. Just as the second train is pulling in at 115 John and Abby arrive at the pit stop in 2nd place. Greg/Scott, Michelle/Samuel, Jack/Elizabeth and Jason/Kyle decide to do cash, while Kaitlin/Christopher, Genevieve/Daniel, Sarah/Megan, and Angelia and Ashley do clothes.

Jack and Elizabeth arrive in third place

Jason/Kyle arrive in 4th place

Greg/Scott and Genevieve and Daniel arrive in 5th and 6th place

Sarah/Megan arrive in 7th place

Michelle/Samuel arrive in 8th place

Phil watches as he sees the remaining two teams, Angelia/Ashley and Kaitlin/Christopher race to pit stop

Congratulations Kaitlin and Christopher you are team number 9. Angelia and Ashley Im sorry to tell you, youve both been eliminated from the Amazing Race
