<p>Santa Clara, California, police say they are looking into an assault of wholesale nhl jerseys a man wearing a Minnesota Vikings jersey that was recorded on video after the Vikings 49ers game Monday night.</p>
Lt. Kurt Clarke of the Santa Clara Police Department said the department received the video in an email Tuesday morning, and department investigators have been assigned to the case.</p>
The video was posted on the Facebook page of a San Francisco 49ers fan. Clarke said it happened after the game, but he did not know the specific time. The incident happened outside Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California, which is a San Francisco suburb.</p>
The video shows at least two people wearing 49ers jerseys pummeling a man wearing a Vikings jersey. The video shows some kicks and punches, and then stadium security and bystanders get involved and break things up.</p>
The video had more than 1.5 million views as of Tuesday afternoon.</p>
The video was shot by Brandon Cosio, who posted it on Facebook and said that Vikings and 49ers fans were "talking smack" before it got physical.</p>
The San Francisco 49ers, in Dt5FW6a9x a statement Tuesday, said the team is working with police as they investigate the matter:</p>
are aware of the disturbing incident following last night game and are working in collaboration with the Santa Clara Police Department to investigate. The 49ers and our public safety partners have a steadfast commitment to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors to Levi Stadium and unacceptable behavior such as this will not be tolerated. Vikings issued a statement saying the team is committed to providing a safe environment for fans.</p>
"Clearly, it is troubling to see this video. Fan violence of any sort is disappointing. The Vikings, along with all teams in the NFL, are committed to working toward creating a safe and positive environment for our fans.
