Did anyone else see this this evening? What an awesome interview. Her first since being diagnosed with breast cancer. There was footage of her performance at the Grammy awards (which I missed) Where she chose to perform bald instead of wearing a wig to diguise the effects of the chemotherapy. I've have always enjoyed her music and have seen her a couple of times in concert but I have a new found respect for her courage and strength.

I never seen her interview tonight but I did see her performance at the Grammys and it was awesome. I have a lot of respect for her, going on stage bald took alot of guts. WTG Melissa Cool

I have always enjoyed her music since she first hit the scene. She is an incredible musician and person, glad to hear things are getting better for her.

Back in 88-89 (forget the year) when her first album came out I was working in a record store in St. Louis. I got a call from the local record rep that they needed filler for a music video for her "Somebody bring me some water". They filmed it at Muddy Waters on the landing and I got to be part of the crowd for the video. It was fun and a few years later I got to meet her when I was managing a record store in Chicago. Just a real nice down to earth person.

I like a couple of her songs, but am not necessarily a huge fan of hers. However, I've heard interviews with her before on the radio and have always been impressed with the way she speaks and comes across on a personal level.
