Catch-22 - April 18

Another Des episode.  Some interesting tidbits on The Transmission website:
"LOST" was filming at St. Andrew's Cathedral today (Friday, Feb. 23). This is the same church that Charlie visited in Season 1, and where Mr. Eko worked in Season 2. This time, it was for Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick). He was neatly shorn and wearing a long, grey robe, so I'd guess he was more than just a visitor. He was talking to a man in a long black robe and skull cap... and soon got down on his knees, palms together and up, as if to receive communion.

I like Desmond. I think I am going to enjoy seeing this one. I just hate these little glimpses of each LOST character.

This is all I've found:
Desmond coaxes Charlie, Hurley and Jin on a trek across the jungle; Kate turns to Sawyer after seeing Jack alone with Juliet. (a local TV guide synopsis)
 
and from the Lost Magazine:
Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz reveal: [We will explore] what's going on with Penny and Desmond. You know what we started in the finale of season two? We'll continue to explore that. Plus, there's another big revelation on that front coming up pretty soon.

They were paralized.  Paolo died (i think) but Nikki woke up just as they were burrying her, meaning she was burried alive before she could climb out of the sand.

Actually, supposedly they were both buried alive... and the entire purpose of that show was to "kill them off" since fans were so ticked off at the way they just popped out of the woodwork, so to speak.. no explanation. .just there one day.
 
Desmond and Penny have been around since the end of last season.. so not new characters... I'm really excited about this one... I want to know how Desmond ended up in prison and on the island.. .and the connection with Libby could come up again here... I'm actually looking forward to this epi.. :-D

3.17 - Catch 22 (Desmond Centered)
 
Desmond gets a flash of the future and enlists Hurley, Charlie, and
Jin to join him on a mysterious hike. Hurley becomes suspicious that
Desmond may be acting without everybody's best interests in mind.
Desmond's vision reference the cable that Sayid, and later Hurley,
found in season one. If you'll recall, Damon Lindelof and Carlton
Cuse told BuddyTV that a major reveal was coming up concerning that
cable later on. This episode will close with Desmond and the gang
finding a mysterious parachutist named Naomi who may have compelling
information concerning one of the current island occupants.

I remember Penny and the whole story with her father and Desmond.
 
I'd like to see more about Libby and how she knew Hurley earlier.  We saw them together at the asylum, but we never found out why she was there.

OK... I'm watching again (I forgot to tape it Wednesday, so I've had to wait all day for iTunes to get to see it again.. LOL)
 
One thing I noticed, at the very beginning when Des is having his flashes... and they're holding the parachute for the girl to fall into, Charlie is there in the "flash".. which means, Charlie was meant to be saved by Desmond... maybe the reason Des is getting the flashes is so that he CAN save Charlie??
