Grissom leaving CSI... :(

This week's episode of CSI is titled "Leaving Las Vegas" and has Gil Grissom leaving the CSI team for a "teaching sabbatical"... question is - Is Grissom gone for good?  Or just for a 'sabbatical'?  
 
I love Grissom, he's the main reason I watch CSI, and why I've never gotten hooked on the others (I love Gary Sinise, but he's no Gil Grissom!!!).  I just don't know that I'd even watch anymore without Gil there.. Sad

The article says he's coming back in February. He's only gone for a short while because he's doing a play.

Maybe Horatio will leave CSI Miami instead.  It bugs me the way he cocks his head while he talk in his low voice.  (I also get freaked out the way the medical examiner practically makes love to the dead bodies.)  The rest of the cast is fine. (including New York and Vegas.)
