Hey everyone!

To pass time until AR5 starts I suggest we look back at previous Amazing Races and share our favourite moments/episodes! Here are mine...

AR1: Kevin & Drew (the frat boys) at the bungee jump: "Swing you fat bastard, swing!"

AR2: The foot race to the finish between Tara & Wil and Chris & Alex. I don't think my heart has every pumped that fast!

AR3: Quite possibly the funniest race of them all. Anything Ken & Gerard said was memorable. Heather & Eve's elimination episode was intense (all teams finish within 30 odd minutes of each other). Teri & Ian with the paper underwear (continues to scar me!)

AR4: The clowns always brought a smile to my face. "Weezer & Geezer" should also go down as one of the best nicknames ever on the race. As for a single favourite moment: Debra falling in the airport made me laugh hysterically!

Hope everyone reminisces with me! Can't wait till AR5!!!

When Jon groped Kelly in the crowded Indian train, it struck me as extremely hilarious. She was so hyper as it was, not that I blame her, and this just pushed her over the edge.

My favorite moment wasn't aired, but is on the web site. It's this hilarious bit where they keep going back and forth between an interview with Derek & Drew (the twins) talking about how they don't understand why people are saying Flo is mean, and this scene of Flo going berserk and yelling and Zach and someone else over the map. I can't imagine being with Flo right then was very fun, but the contrast between the two as they keep going back to the twins talking about how sweet she is and how great she and Zach seem to get along is bloody hilarious.

Hate to bring back an old topic

But i rewatched the 4 seasons again this month (haven't done that since november...)

The intro music for the 4th season is completely different (and in my opinion better) than the intro music for the other 3 seasons (the other 3 seasons have the same music)

(by intro i mean 1st episode when phil does entrances with his $1 million speech)

So that is one of my favortie TAR moments...the new music in AR4...wonder what they will use for ar5...

One my all time favorite moments wasn't a funny one, but it was the part where Reichen had to get through the baby octopus meal and Chip was so supportive and calm and talked him through it while pouring glasses of water for him. I just thought that's how a relationship should be, you should be THAT patient and supportive in a difficult time.

Back to topic...

For AR4, my favorite was the one when Millie and Chuck were strapped on the windmill's blade. It's a Fast Forward task I think. I always remember that because it would be the most horrifying task for me! :yikes:

In AR5, there are tons that I like and will not forget. Some of them are (not in order)...

1. The Colin meltdown in Manila
2. Charla and the Chocolate factory
3. The Zorb!
4. The twins swimming to the Pit Stop
5. Egypt!

For me, it wasn't the "My Ox is Broken" line that got me...

It was more of...

Colin (to the ox): "Oh my God, I hate you!"

But for my favorite & funniest AR moment, I'd have to go with the finale of Season 2, in which Chris & Alex were following Tara & Wil, and Wil decided to try to lose them by climbing up the hill.. when Chris & Alex figured out what they were trying to do and took off instead, Tara then screamed hysterically at Wil, "YOU'RE AN IDIOT!!!" That was sooooooooooo hilarious! :laugh:

That's why I liked the team so much. The best of Tara and Will was that mine in Coober Pedy Australia (by the way, the FIRST TAR episode that I ever saw! It was the 2nd half of a two hour episode, but I flipped to it at 10 PM).

Tara: "I know, you're an idiot!" :laff:
