Fast Foward - What Happened to it?

Well according to the CBS website, there will only be 2 legs with the Fast Foward. Only one team can get it per leg.

This will cause more competition to try to grab the fast foward on those legs.

I thought no one in the 1st episode took the fast forward. so it means only 2 episodes have fast forward (if a team will take them?)

Jaypee, you may be confusing the Yield with the Fast Forward. In the first leg, nobody used the Yield - no Fast Forward was offered in the first leg.

Only two legs will have a Fast Forward this season. I personally would have liked it if more than two legs had the Fast Forward. Think of the dynamics of having several legs with both the Fast Forward and the Yield.

Of course, the Yield would have to be placed before the Fast Forward, since if the Fast Forward is utilized, they would bypass the Yield.

If a team is Yielded, would that encourage them to try for the Fast Forward? Perhaps a team would utilize the Yield to try and grab the Fast Forward from a team that they think is also going for it.

Decisions, decisions, decision.

So, it is more unpredictable...I think they'll put the FF separately so that it will confuse the teams when they will use it..If I were they I'll make it 3 FFs

3 FFs I agree will make the teams compete more viciously(isnt that what we like? c'mon, be honest!)...

And if you think about it, Fast Forward and Yield is kinda similar in away... though a Yield can save a team in a ditch rather than pushing them big time. Plus it can add more heat between teams if done in a personal manner.

Three Fast Forwards? I think that there should be plenty more. Maybe two Fast Forwards in the elimination legs, and a Fast Forward available for each of the non-elimination legs. As I've said before, I think that if there were more Fast Forwards, there would be an interesting combination as a team decides whether to use the Yield or the Fast Forward (since I would also rule that no team can use both in the same leg. Maybe even have it so that if a team attempts the Fast Forward, then they cannot use the Yield in the same leg.)

I just think that dynamics would make for interesting watching if there were more Fast Forwards available.

so unlike before... we only have 2 Fast Forwards... so that's why no one was using it in the previous legs....

Yes, I remember last season that there was a team who went to the FF only to find out it was already completed by another team.

But, last episode, no one even tried to go to the FF. Maybe they (Charla nad Mirna?) realized that the team ahead of them must have taken it already.
