This week The Amazing Race 5 ratings increased by 2% from going from a 6.4/11 rating last week, to a 6.5/11 rating this week.

Usually TAR episodes on average from past seasons experience a 16% decrease (excluding season 2 which had a survivor boost for episode 2).

This is a great accomplishment, especially against the All-Star MLB game.
