Opening their next clue after they completed the Detour, Teams were puzzled by the instruction to see Phil on the mat on the rooftop of a building a mile and a half away.

Kris and Jon arrived on the rooftop where Phil waited. Expecting to hear news of another first-place finish, instead, Kris and Jon received a shock when Phil informed them that all he had waiting for them was their next clue. The Race wasnt over yet.

Stepping onto the mat in Lucknow, India, couple Kris and Jon received a shock when Phil, instead of handing them a prize for another first-place finish, handed them another clue. The leg was not over. Opening their clue, Kris and Jon learned they needed to make their way across the street to the Lucknow Train Station and find Platform Two, where they would board a train and wait for their next clue.

At 9 pm, the five Teams boarded the train on Platform Two to an unknown destination. At 1 am, a mysterious man paid a visit to each Team while they were sleeping to give them their clue. Opening the clue, the Teams learned they must find the next Route Marker at the Jodhpur Train Station, almost 24 hours away.

Arriving in Jodhpur, Nancy and Emily raced off the train in first place to find their next clue. Opening it, they discovered they must travel one mile to the Sardar Marker and find a clock tower, where their next clue waited on the first floor balcony. When all five Teams arrived at the clock tower, they found that it was closed until 10:00 the next morning.

The next morning at 10:00, Teams raced to the top of the clock tower to find their next clue, which included the second and final Fast Forward of the Race and a Detour.

To win the Fast Forward, Teams must travel ten and a half miles to a Hindu temple and participate in a good-fortune ritual: having their heads shaved, something done by Hindu men and women at least once in their life. Teams would not learn that the ritual required head shaving until they arrived. Once both Team members were completely bald, they could claim the Fast Forward.

Vote for which team you want to win the Fast Forward. Wanda and Desiree are not eligible for it.

Nancy and Emily headed to the Fast Forward with Kris and Jon in hot pursuit, hoping to snare the prize first.

The remaining three Teams weighed their options at the Detour, faced with a choice between Trunk and Dunk.

To complete Trunk, Teams must go to Jodhpurs Old City and transport a wooden tiki elephant weighing 600 pounds half a mile to a temple, where a priest would hand them their clue. While physically demanding, this task could be completed quickly with the help of locals.

For Dunk, Teams had to travel to a neighborhood of Jodhpur famous for tie-dyed fabrics and dye white sheets. The dye color would make the next clue visible on the fabric once the sheet was untied. While not physically demanding, this task could take some time, because the clue would appear on only one sheet out of 25.
