Teams arrived in El Calafate and then drove to the base of Cerro Fritz Roy for their next clue.

Detour: Hike (+10) or Ride (+5)

Hike: In Hike, teams will make their way to El Chalten. Once there, teams will need to hike a three mile trail while passing five checkpoints. Once they have reached the end of the trail, they will receive their next clue.

Ride: In Ride, teams will make their way to Estancia Cristina. Once there, they will need to corral ten horses. Then each team member will need to ride a horse along a 1.5 mile trail for their next clue.

VOTE FOR THE ORDER OF HOW THE TEAMS FINISH THE DETOUR. NOTIFY WHICH DETOUR OPTION THEY CHOOSE. PLEASE RANK THE TEAMS IN EACH GROUP SEPERATELY.

Leg 3

This is El Calafate, the national capital of glaciers in Argentina. Located in Southern Argentina, El Calafate is a major tourist destination for visitors going to the Los Glaciares National Park. Located in the park is Upsala Glacier. This glacier is considered one of the largest in South America and was the second pit stop in a race around the world.

Teams leave in the following order:

2. Nancy and Emily (4:10 AM)
3. Uchenna and Joyce (4:13 AM)
4. Chip and Kim (4:16 AM)
5. Hayden and Aaron (4:19 AM)

7. Kami and Karli (4:27 AM)
8. Gus and Hera (4:52 AM)
9. Lena and Kristy (5:09 AM)
10. Fran and Barry (5:16 AM)
11. Reichen and Chip (6:23 AM)

Clue: Drive to Punta Arenas, Chile. Once there drive to the Munoz Gamero Square and search for your next clue.

Teams now have to drive around 375 miles to Punta Arenas, Chile to find the Munoz Gamero Square.
