Teams finished the roadblock in the following order:

Clue: Fly to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Once there, drive to the Boticario Square for your next clue.

There is only one flight from Punta Arenas, Chile to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The flight is LAN 080 through Santiago and Buenos Aires leaving at 12:40 PM arriving the next day at 8:00 AM. All teams were on the flight.

Teams arrived in Brazil and then found Boticario Square at very similar times.

Detour: Surf (+5) or Ski (+10)

Surf: In Surf, teams will make their way to Barra da Tijuca. Once there, they will choose an instructor and follow a marked two mile course while surfing. Once they finish the course, they will receive their next clue.

Ski: In Ski, teams will make their way to Barra da Tijuca. Once there, they will take jet skis and search among a three mile area for their next clue.

VOTE FOR THE ORDER OF HOW THE TEAMS FINISH THE DETOUR. NOTIFY WHICH DETOUR OPTION THEY CHOOSE.

This is Rio de Janeiro, the second largest city in Brazil. Located on Guanabara Bay is the Ilha Fiscal, a large castle built in the nineteenth century. Now controlled by the Brazilian Navy, this castle was the third pit stop in a race around the world.

The TAP flight through Lisbon which left last landed first at 10:55 AM. Next was the Air France flight through Paris, landing at 11:40 AM followed by the British Airways flight through Sao Paulo and London, landing at 12:50 PM. Teams then found the Cirbles for their next clue.

Clue: Drive to the Plaza Mayor. Once their, you must find the statue of King Phillips II for your next clue.

Teams were able to find the statue fairly easily.

Detour: Little Eat(+5) or Long Count(+10)

Little Eat: In Little Eat, teams will have to make their way to the Puerta del Sol, one of the busiest centers in Madrid. Once there they will have to find the Puerta del Sol tower and pull of a link of twelve grapes, a tradition that occurs each new year in Spain. Each team member will need to eat the grapes for their next clue.

Long Count: In Long Count, teams will enter the Plaza Mayor and will need to find the Casa de la Panadería. Then they will need to count the number of balconies to receive their next clue. They must be correct or the teams accompaniment will not give them the next clue. (Correct Answer is 237)
