Clue: Welcome to Toronto, Ontario. Drive one mile to La Tour CN, the worlds tallest building. Proceed to the top observation deck and use binoculars to find your next clue.

Task: Go to Google maps: http://maps.google.com. Make sure the search option is on map and put in CN tower, Toronto in the search box. Once the map focuses in on it, change the option to Hybrid. Then search the "around" the location of the CN tower for the exact spot where the teams in TAR 8 had to find. Once you find it, send me a screenshot of the area.

NOTE: IT IS NOT THE TORONTO CITY CENTRE AIRPORT.

Detour: Ship (+5) or Shoe (+10)

Ship: Teams needed to sail across Toronto Harbor to a ship, the Kajama, where one Team member would climb 100-feet to the top of the mast and retrieve a nautical flag.

Task: Go to this site: http://www.tallshipcruisestoronto.com/. Answer the following questions. NOTE: You will have to search different parts of the site for the answers so you will have to open up different links from the main page.

1. What year was the boat built and how long is it?
2. What is the signature dish of the Kajama?
3. What road in Toronto is the head office on and what is the name of the Company?
4. On the weekends, how many sailings does it have a day?
5. How many square feet of sails are actually on board?

Shoe: In Shoe, Teams had to find the Bata Show Museum, choose a pair of shoes, and search through 100 women for the one woman who fit the pair of shoes selected.

Task: Go here: http://www.batashoemuseum.ca/. Search the site and pm me the name and a picture of the signature shoe of Pablo Picasso.

Clue: Drive 81 miles to the city of Queenston. Take a jet boat ride into the falls and find the marked buoy for your next clue.

Clue: Take your jet boat across the border into the United States. Go to Lewiston, New York, your final destination city and find Davis State Environmental Park for your next clue.

Task: Go to mapquest.com. Search the maps for Queenston, Ontario. Once you have a map of the area, find the Joseph Davis State Park and draw the route which teams in TAR 8 took. PM me the picture.

Peetah: Wow. The Kajama task is very hard. Maybe we should switch tasks
Aaron: It's never a good strategy to switch detours, especially when it's so close to the end.

When they arrived at shore, the first team (not telling ) opened their clue to find their last Roadbock and final task of the race. In this Roadblock, one team member needs to use jigsaw pieces to complete an enormous puzzle of Central and North America. After completing the Roadblock, Teams can make their way to and across the finish line.

Task: Teams will need to fill out an outline of the race. Teams will then be judged on their accuracy. For every wrong answer, teams will receive an additional 2 point to their amount, so a couple wrong answers may lose them the race. THIS TASK IS NOT TIME BASED BUT YOU CAN ONLY SEND IT TO ME ONCE.

However, you will have some time to re track yourselfs throughout the race as I'm not sending you the outline until sometime tomorrow afternoon or night. You will receive an e-mail from [email protected] when I send it and I will post a message in this forum at that time. So enjoy the rest of the night as your final task will come tomorrow. Good luck!!

PLEASE READ:

Popo had the idea a couple days ago of making the finale live. I'm willing to do this via the chat room on this site if the players in this game want to. I would need a time and a day from all three members that they can be online and I will only do this if all three members can come up with a time. Also, I would want it to be a time where members who live in the other part of the world are also on, so there can be as many people in the room as possible. Everybody would be allowed in the room, and I would like as many people who were in this game and have already been eliminated to be there. Let me know.

I haven't started yet. I'll do some after dinner and finish sometime on Saturday I hope.

I have no idea when I will be on or not but if this is Sunday which I'm sure it is then I should be clear for 10AM-10PM. I can get on earlier if you want me to but I might be pissy. Wink

TO MEMBERS WHO AREN'T IN THE GAME:

IF YOU WOULD WANT TO BE AT THE LIVE FINALE, LET ME KNOW (POST HERE) AND I WILL TRY TO FIND A TIME WHICH WILL WORK FOR EVERYONE. I'M THINKING IT WILL BE SUNDAY NIGHT AFTER TAR, WHICH MEANS AROUND 9:00 PM EST.
