Leg 3 Summary

Compliments of Alexander

Departing from the pit stop in first place Genius and Kris discovered they had to search Rio de Janeiro for the Samba Club where they will find their next clue. As all the other teams made their way to Samba Club, Arch Angel and Carissa were the last ones to depart.
The teams raced to the Samba Club but Alexander and Kellie were the first ones to arrive, opening their clue they discovered an intersection, as no other team was nearby they decided to sit down and wait for the next team to arrive so they could pair up.

El sheik and Chip were the next ones to arrive and decided to pair up with Alexander and Kellie; both teams opened their intersection clue to discover One team will need to find the address for the Tradicio school while the other team will need to find the address for the Portela school.

While the 4 people team scattered around to look for the addresses, Jhon Vito and Racedude arrived to the intersection, t and Blake arrived next and decided to pair up with them. Popo and Marion paired up with Mary and littleboy, as Mary and Littleboy ran away he chanted Mary has a littleboy, littleboy, littleboy
Arriving at the same time as Heather and Charla, JP and Mirna decided to pair up with them.

Arriving next Carrssa and Arch Angel paired up with Genius and Kris who got lost on their way, leaving tarfan1 and Gretchen and Peetah and Aaron to pair up last. Marion and Mary made use of their mommy instincts to look for the addresses, when Popo and Littleboy tried to help Marion replied: Just let the MOMS do it It turned out the MOMS knew what they were doing as they were the first team to finish the Intersection, el sheik, Chip, Alexander and Kellie were next with JP, Mirna, Charla and Heather very closely.

Opening their clues the teams discovered they were no longer joined and they had to go to the airport and sign up for a flight to México City, México, excited for returning to his home city Alexander claimed they had a ground advantage. Arriving first to the airport Marion and Popo signed up for the first flight, meanwhile the other teams completed their Intersection, except for t and Blake and Racedude and John Vito who decided to get a penalty for not completing the task.

In the first flight with Popo and Marion were, JP and Mirna, Genius and Kris, Mary and littleboy, el sheik and Chip, Peetah and Aaron and Racedude and John Vito.

Arriving at México teams discovered they had to search for Pablo, locating him by a picture they were given. Littleboy and Mary were the first ones to locate Pablo and received their next clue, ripping it open they acknowledged they had to Find the Hotel de los Cortes and sign up for on a charter bus to a mystery destination, along with the route marker they found the first Fast Forward clue, as they raced towards the Hotel de Cortes other teams found Pablo, a race to sign up for charter buses started, except for Gretchen and Tarfan1 and Alexander and Kellie whom had decided to go for the FF, Gretchen and tarfan1 got it first making Alexander and Kellie run back to the Hotel de Cortes to sign up in the last bus.

In the first bus were: John Vito and Racedude, Popo and Marion & Mary and Littleboy. In the second bus were: JP and Mirna, t and Blake, el sheik & Chip and Peetah and Aaron. Finally on the last bus Alexander and Kellie, Heather and Charla, Genius and Kris & Arch Angel and Carissa.

Teams on the first bus arrived first and discovered another Detour; in this Detour teams had to choose between wings or wheels, in wings teams had to jump from an airplane at 10,000 feet, skydiving in tandem with an instructor. Teams that choose this would land the Teams at the next Route Marker. In Wheels Teams had to ride a donkey cart on a seven-mile course with a driver who speaks no English.

Every team on the first bus chose to perform the Wings Detour, teams on the second bus also choose to perform wings, while Peetah and Aaron enjoyed the jumping, t and Blake once more bickered about the task, all started when t asked Blake what if it went wrong and he died, to which Blake replied
Your family gets compensation, after that t yelled at Blake for being insensitive, Blake said he was kidding stopping the fight.

Teams on the third bus all choose to perform Wings except for Heather and Charla who choose wheels, Kellie helped Alexander overcome his height fears making him jump off the plane.

Completing the Detour first Genius and Kris got the clue to their pit stop: the Hacienda San Gabriel de las Palmas, getting into their marked vehicles Genius and Kris saw John Vito and Racedude near by. Being the last ones out Heather and Charla hoped for a miracle.

All the teams were now on their way to the Hacienda San Gabriel las Palmas, arriving there with a huge lead Popo and Marion stepped into the mat in first place and won a seven night Caribbean vacation on Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas cruise ship. Minutes later Littleboy and Mary claimed second place.

Some time later el sheik and Chip claimed third with Alexander and Kellie, finally arriving from their fast forward lead tarfan1 and Gretchen discovered they were team number 5. Heather and Charla run high with luck as they became team number 6, with JP and Mirna coming closely for a seven place ending, which JP called unacceptable, afterwards Mirna compared him to Charla but JP wasnt up for a fight so just let it slip away.

With Genius and Kris falling to eight place, Racedude and John Vito settled for ninth, Peetah and Aaron ran into 10th. Just Arch Angel and Carissa and bickering friends t and Blake remained. t and Blake managed to slip into eleventh place, t got sad from their almost last place finish but Blake cheered him up saying himself and Paige had came into that place and they still made it third on TAR 2, a little bit happier t copped in by saying:
At least there are other weak teams on the race

Getting last Arch Angel and Carissa discovered they had been eliminated from the race, both were really saddened by their departure but proud of their achievements.

Leg 4

Teams begin with the following amount of points:
Popo and Marion Paolo - 10.7
LittleBoy and Mary - 11.8
el_sheik_doufa and Chip - 16.2
Alexander and Kellie - 16.4
TARfan1 and Gretchen - 17.5
Heather and Charla - 18.1
JP and Mirna - 18.6
Genius and Kris - 18.9
RaCeDuDe and John Vito - 20.7
Peetah and Aaron - 20.8
t and Blake - 23.6

Clue: Fly to Reykjavík, Iceland. You will receive your next clue at the airport.

Team Task: Search the web for a flight. Send me the flight details and the link of the site. NOTE: THE FLIGHT MUST LEAVE FROM MEXICO CITY TO ICELAND.

FLIGHT CONDITIONS:
- Must leave on December 1st, 2006
- 2 Adults (18 or older)
- Economy/Coach Seats
- One Way Tickets

DEADLINE: SUNDAY NOVEMBER, 26TH AT 9:00 PM EST.
