Popo: What is funny is that some teams who were on the first flight, at least 8 hours before the other 2 on a later flight.. came in after them... when there's not even opening hours or what.

Marion: I wonder what happened, i think they were stuck in the airport toilet?

I thought I made the differences in points between the 9 on the first flight (+5) and alexander (+20) and t (+30) big enough and I didn't want to change them during the leg. I guess not, even though t was unable to recover from the bad flight choice.

Yaa, but it has to be logical right?

First flight = 8 hours before the other 2, there's no way they should catch up at all. I feel bad for Genius.

i know but there has been teams in the show which have got lost and waisted tons of time. i thought they were big enough to keep those teams at the bottom and I wasn't going to change them during the leg, which would have screwed them. the next time - either the differences in points will be bigger or the teams will be on flights closer to each other  Smiley

Leg 4 Summary

Compliments of Alexander

After a mandatory 12-hour period, Popo and Marion were able of leaving the last pit stop in first place, opening their clue they discovered they had to drive to the airport and search for a flight to Reykjavík, Iceland, as they made their way to the airport. Littleboy and Mary departed the pit stop in second place.
As Marion and Popo searched for the best flight throughout the airport, everyone else made their way to the airport.
Arriving there almost at the same time John Vito and Racedude and JP and Mirna started looking for their flight; however drama flood in as both teams argued over time schedules prompting Popo to offer Popcorn to watch the fight, Heather and Charla joined them. Aaron and Peetah had trouble when the computers went down, however after some pep talk by Peetah they decided to keep going. Everyone cached up the 6:30 flight, except for Alexander and Kellie who did a 2:30 pm flight and t and Blake who went into a 4:00 pm flight.

Arriving at Iceland teams on the first flight discovered they had to drive themselves to Seljalandsfoss waterfall to receive their next clue. Kris and Genius noticed the absence of two teams on the flight and decided to relax as they had probably gotten a good lead against them. When they arrived at Iceland Blake and t continued to bicker over if they were going to get last or not.
Arriving at the waterfall first Racedude and John Vito discovered they had to Drive to the base of Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Europe. Once there, sign up for a charter to the edge of the glacier.

Racedude and John Vito were the first ones to sign up for the charter bus, somehow Alexander and Kellie managed to regain the huge lead they had lost and joined Racedude and John Vito and JP and Mirna in the first bus. On the second charter were Popo and Marion and allies Littleboy and Mary along with Charla and Heather. Leading teams on the third charter were Genius and Kris, Gretchen and Tarfan1 and lucky Blake and t managed to gain a spot with them. El sheik and Chip and Peetah and Aaron had to set down for the last charter bus.

The teams on the first charter discovered their next clue which instructed them to Use the provided ski bikes and gear to drive themselves 2.5 miles to the camp site. Once there, teams must search for a departing time for the next morning. Next morning teams drove to Glacier Ice Beach and found a Detour in this Detour teams had to choose between Ice Climb and Ice Search. In Ice Climb, teams must use ice axes to climb the face of a steep ice wall. In Ice Search, teams must find a glacial lagoon, then choose a boat and a driver and search among icebergs for a buoy containing their next clue.

Every team chose to perform the Ice Climb Detour, Racedude and John Vito finished quickly due to their amazing brawns, once at the top they discovered they had to proceed to their next pitstop: the Blue Lagoon. As they hurried off to their marked vehicle, Gretchen and Tarfan1 surprised the others by being the second ones out the Detour, meanwhile Alexander and Kellie struggled to keep up, Kellie had trouble as she had just polished her nails, a few meters behind Peetah and Aaron enjoyed the view Kellie gave them. Both teams quickly finished with Charla and Heather and JP and Mirna hot on their heels.
El sheik and Chip and Genius and Kris both finished soon enough.

Arriving at the mat first and with a huge lead, Racedude and John Vito won a trip to Hawaii, compliments of American Airlines. JP and Mirna arrived to the mat on second place.
Squarely on last place t and Blake rushed off to their marked vehicles hoping for someone to get lost. Tarfan1 and Gretchen congratulated themselves with their 3rd place ending, while Heather and Charla came into a close fourth place, Littleboy and Mary managed a fifth place ending. Peetah and Aaron settled down for sixth while Marion and Popo accepted their 7th place as long as they were going to New Zealand.

Alexander and Kellie came out in an eight place finish even when Kellie said she thought someone was watching her over at the Detour. El sheik and Chip and Genius and Kris arrived at the pitstop at the same team, racing each other el sheik and Chip managed to take 9th while Kris and Genius settled for 10th.
Last Place t and Blake stepped on the mat on last place, and Phil told them they had been eliminated from the race. T said he knew it was coming, and Blake congratulated his partner on his great performance on the show.

Now only 10 teams remain, who will be eliminated next?
