CURRENT STANDING

Leading for the first time ever, Genius and Amarillo beat JP and username to the cluebox at the base of Grouse Mountain first by seconds and uncovered a Roadblock.

Roadblock: Who wants to do more work?

A Roadblock is a task which only one team member may perform. However, no team member can do more than 7 Roadblocks in the entire race.

In this Roadblock, one team member will have to hike to the peak of Vancouver on The Grouse Grind, an extremely steep and mountainous trail that climbs 853 meters over a distance of 2.9 kilometres. The other team member will instead take a Skyride tram to the top where they will find Popo and the fifth pitstop in the race around the world. They will then have to wait for their teammate to complete the Roadblock before both of them can check-in to the Pitstop.

WARNING: The last team to check-in here, may be eliminated.

Your team will now have to decide who wants to do the Roadblock. After you've made a decision, place your name on any of the 7 random numbers.

The average time taken for a normal person to hike up to the top is 90 minutes. Therefore these 7 slots will consist of time cards which will determine how long you'll take to do the Roadblock. The 7 times are - 70mins, 75mins, 80mins, 85mins, 90mins, 95 mins and 100mins.

Yes, everything is pre-determined and this is a luck base Roadblock. You don't have to play a game but you can't determine your own fate. All i can say is good luck. Wink
