ROUTE MAP

All 7 remaining teams are now on their way to New York, one of the world's greatest cities, and also a major center for media, culture, food, fashion, art, research, finance and trade via 3 private chartered planes.

Arriving at New York in first place, Heather and Popit found the marked cars outside the airport and drove their way to the ~~Statue of Popopopit~~ Statue of Liberty where they found the next clue.

Detour: Play or Dare

In Play, teams must make their way to the Chess and Checkers House in Central Park and win a game of Checkers against a professionalist before they will receive their next clue.

What a coincidence, the professionalist just happened to be Popo!

You must now find Popo on MSN ([email protected]) and challenge him to a game of Checkers and win against him to complete this task. Only ONE team member will need to do this task.

In Dare, teams will have to make their way to the Safari Playground in Central Park and retreive their next clue from an enclosure of hippopotamuses. (Heather: WHAT!! Shocked

)

Popo: This is virtual. Roll Eyes

Teams attempting this Detour will now have to correctly answer the questions below regarding hippopotamus and have both team members to send it to me via PM.

1. What are the male, female and baby hippopotamus known as?

2. What is the typical lifespan of a hippopotamus?

3. Adult hippopotamus usually resurface the water to breath every 10minutes. True or False?

4. Are all hippopotamus are herbivores?

5. How thick is the skin of an average hippopotamus?

6. Give me the name of the teeth of a hippopotamus which is used for fighting.

7. How many hippopotamuses are there in the Safari Playground at Central Park?

8. A hippopotamus can spend four to six hours grazing and consume 68kg of grass a night. True or False?

9. Name me a part from a hippopotamus which can be consumed?

10. Lastly, is Popo related to a hipPOPOtamus? Roll Eyes

Fast Forward

This is the first of only two Fast Forwards placed on the entire race. The team claiming the Fast Forward can skip all tasks and proceed directly to the Pitstop. However, a team can only claim the Fast Forward once throughout the entire course of the race.

In this Fast Forward, BOTH team members will have to PM to me the name of the building shown below. First team to complete this will win the Fast Forward!
