Hello everyone! Popo's The Amazing Race Allstars Fantasy Game is finally here again! Hopefully after reading this post, you'll be interested to join this fun and exciting game!

NOTE: This is not a regular voting game!

Overview

In this game, you will each be randomly assigned two teams who are currently running the 11th edition of The Amazing Race. Your fate in this game will lie in the hands of the two teams you're assigned to, because each week you'll be given points on how well your teams have done on the race. However, joining this game does not take up much of your time, because what you simply have to do each week is to answer a simple set of 10 to 20 questions. It's that easy!

How to join?

I will need up to 11 players for this game. To join this game, you'll need to PM to me the ranking of the teams in the order of your preference from The Amazing Race Allstars. You'll then have 2 teams randomly assigned to you.

Julia, LittleBoy and Mr Tyler were the final 3 of last season, their prize was that they get to pick a team that will be playing for them in this game. They have the 3 confirmed spots in this game, if i do not hear from them within 3 days about this, their spots will be given to someone else who wants to join in the fun!

Point System

Depending on when a team finishes a Detour or Roadblock (the task which appear first on the show), they get the following points:

First: 30
Second: 27
Third: 24
Fourth: 21
Fifth: 18
Sixth: 15
Seventh: 12
Eighth: 9
Ninth: 6
Tenth: 3
Eleventh: 0

Depending on when a team finishes a Detour or Roadblock (the task which appear last on the show), they get the following points:

First: 50
Second: 45
Third: 40
Fourth: 35
Fifth: 30
Sixth: 25
Seventh: 20
Eighth: 15
Ninth: 10
Tenth: 5
Eleventh: 0

Depending on when the teams check in at the Pit Stop, they get the following points:

First: 70
Second: 63
Third: 56
Fourth: 49
Fifth: 42
Sixth: 35
Seventh: 28
Eighth: 21
Ninth: 14
Tenth: 7
Eleventh: 0

There are also a few ways that teams can pick up points from:

1. If a team is on the first flight into their country of destination, they get 20 points (if there is only one flight out of the country, this is null and void.)

2. If a team uses the Yield, they get 75 points.

3. However, if a team is Yielded, they lose 75 points.

4. If a team uses the Fast Forward, they get 200 points.

5. If a team wins a prize in addition to coming in first on a leg, they get 20 points.

6. If on any leg a team starts in last and finishes first, that team will earn a 75 points bonus.

7. If on any leg a team starts in first and finishes last, that team will earn a 75 points penalty.

Teams will also be awarded special bonuses for each leg:

+30 Erwin and Godwin's spirit will keep us going (For the most kind-natured and lovable team on the race)

+30 Lyn and Karlyn's perseverance will bring us further (For the team who tried so hard and never give up during the leg)

+30 David and Mary's love will keep us together (For the team who gets along best during the leg)

+30 Meredith and Gretchen's luck will be with us (For the luckiest team on the race)

+30 Ken and Gerard's navigational skills will drive us on (For the team with the most superb navigation skills during the leg)

However, teams will also be awarded special penalties for each leg:

-30 Give me no FLO! (For the team with the most meltdowns during the leg)

-30 Will you just shut up? (For the most quarrelsome team during the leg)

-30 Where are you going? (For the team with the worst navigational skills or have no idea what they are doing during the leg)

-30 Missed Opportunity! (For the unluckiest team during the leg)

-30 Call me the puppet master! (For the most manipulative team during the leg)

At the end of each leg, I will give each team a Wildcard bonus or penalty, based on one thing that stuck out to me during the leg. This bonus can range anywhere from +50 points to 50 points.

Players can pick up bonuses as well:

1. If their two teams are FIRST and SECOND to check in at any Pit Stop (no other combination is accepted for this bonus), they get a bonus 100 points.

2. By answering 10-20 questions in each prediction round before each leg starts which is worth 20 points per question.

3. By using your Yield on one other player, you will get a bonus of 75 points. The player Yielded will lose 75 points instead. There are a total of 2 Yields placed in the race.

4. By using your Fast Forward, your team will automatically rise to first place and gain a 100 points bonus ahead of the leader. If the leader decides to go for the Fast Forward, the team will gain 100 points.

Teams can only use their Fast Forward only once in the entire race, so they have to decide when is the best time to use it. However, a team can claim the Fast Forward again during an Intersection even though their team has previously claimed it before, or claim it again after their first Fast Forward which was placed together with an Intersection. Players can only use their Yield once in the entire race, so they have to decide when is the best time to use it. However, there is no limit to the number of times a player can be Yielded.

If you have joined in previous seasons, i will either give you (from your ranking)

- 2 teams from your top 5 (TAR 9)
- 1 team from top 6, 1 team from bottom 6 (TAR 10)

This season, it'll be another way. So don't try the above 2 methods listed. :laff:
