I always leave it out and nothing happens. Plus, there was no rule about it so if I get a penalty I'm appealing to it.

i will and yes it was planned i looked at the map on each of your profiles and got that city on the pin thing Grin

Teams then went to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the next clue.

DETOUR
A detour is a choice between two tasks each with it's own pros and cons. For this detour, teams must choose between Hit and Steer. In Hit, teams must play croquet at President Benjamin Harrison home. In Steer, teams must do the course of cones at the Speedway.

HIT task: What is the address of President Benjamin Harrison home?
STEER task: Name a tournament that takes place at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
