Linda and Karen and Erwin and Godwin come joint last in that. I do realise now that I failed to change the thread title. I haven't updated earlier because for some reason these forums wouldn't load on my computer. They did once Thursday but after checking the Grapevine Games it went again.
 
I choose Linda and Erwin for those teams. Anyway, for this Road Block team members had to use an ascender (featured in the real Race, including TAR9 Leg 2 waterfall climbing Detour) to scale a specially made flag tower beside the Memorial and place a flag of Cuba on one of 4 corners on top, then scale back down.
 
Here is that Memorial:

 
Here is the long awaited next clue:
Drive to the Hotel Havana Libre and get escorted by a concierge to the next Route Marker on the roof.
 
TASK: Choose which road to drive along to the Hotel.

Sorry about the delay, I had that problem again. The moderators need to sort it out. It might be because there are too many threads now so it takes longer to load. The threads on the back pages which haven't been touched for about 3 years can go.

Sorry for the huge delay, it’s the same stupid problem. Oswald and Danny and Erwin and Godwin get the worst possible option.
 
Here is the next clue:
Detour: MORRO or JUVENTUD
MORRO - Drive to El Morro Castle and find a cannon with the next clue. Then, drive back to the parking lot where you car is right now to open the next clue.
JUVENTUD - Take a helicopter ride to Juventud Island and locate the clue box close to the landing spot, before coming back in the chopper to Chinatown.
 
TASK: Choose which Detour choice to do.
