The rules for the ImANewUser Amazing Race All-Stars are as follows:

I. Introduction

This is the ImANewUser Amazing Race 7, also known as All-Stars. The teams are divided to two groups: the user-controlled teams and the vote-controlled teams. The user-controlled teams will perform tasks to advance whereas the vote-controlled teams will be fully determined by voting. They will run side by side, meaning, they will have the same route and same Pitstop. In final rankings, both sets of teams will be combined, as if there was only one group. (Ex. Vote Team A is 1st among that set, but User Team A is faster than Vote Team A, therefore, Vote Team A becomes second.) In case youĄŚre asking, Ą§What if the team quits?Ą¨, it will work like this: The number of teams that quit in a certain user-controlled task will be equal to the number of teams that quit in the vote-controlled set. Meaning, if three teams didnĄŚt do a task, the last three teams in the vote-controlled set will be considered as if they quit that task as well. Each team is given money for spendings and a credit card for flight booking ONLY. The credit card is only reloaded every three legs, so teams must spend their money wisely, otherwise theyĄŚll be begging.

II. Route Infos

Route Infos are most often sign-up or ordering tasks for vote-controlled teams, whereas it will most probably be a Q/A task, a searching task or an Ą§identify the pictureĄ¨ task for user-controlled teams. The first team to finish in each set will have 15 minutes added to their time, and an extra minute per succeeding team.

III. Flights/Charters/Departures

For the vote-controlled teams, flights are signups whereas teams send in flights for the user-controlled set.

Charters and departures are often signups as well, although the signup sheet for the user-controlled teams is hidden somewhere.

IV. Detours

The Detour is a choice between two tasks. The time added is indicated in the post. Every Detour task for the user-controlled teams is a game, more often related to the Detour options.

V. Roadblocks

The Roadblock is a task only one user can perform. The instructions are often posted. The time added is 30 minutes, and an extra three minutes are added per succeeding team.

VI. Fast Forwards

The Fast Forward can only be taken once in the entire Race. Odd-numbered legs offer FFs for the vote-controlled teams, whereas even-numbered legs offer FFs for the user-controlled teams. When a team wins the Fast Forward, 30 minutes (for traveling to the Pitstop) are added and they skip all tasks for that leg.

VII. Yields

The Yield is in the form of a signup task. Like the Pitstop rankings, all the teams are placed side-by-side. This will be elaborated later. If a team is Yielded, they have 30 minutes added to their time.

VIII. Intersections

In the Intersection, two teams work together until further notice. There are two Intersections in the Race.

IX. Penalties/Bonuses

Penalties:
Not performing a Detour ĄV 2 hours
Not performing a Roadblock ĄV 1 hour
Skipping a Route Info ĄV 30 minutes
Begging ĄV 1 minute per US$ begged

Bonuses:
Leg Title Bonus ĄV 20 minutes
ł The Leg Title Bonus gives any team from any set a 20-minute bonus. Thus, if you want to save a team from the vote-controlled set, you can post quotes with them speaking and that will be considered.
