Amazing Race Jake 2: Leg 4 (Thailand)

Amazing Race: Jake has finished, crowning its winner. Now, its time for Amazing Race: Jake 2. This season, you will not be signing up as past racers. You will be signing up as new racers. Below is a list of 25 teams. You must add one to the sign up list and indicate that you will be playing as them.

The Rules:

ROADBLOCK: There will be one roadblock on each leg of the race. One team member must complete this task. I will assign a task and you must PM me the response to the task with ROADBLOCK as the subject (optional, but recommended).

DETOUR: A detour is a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons. You must PM me a response to the task you choose (with the task name as the subject). You will be ranked on what order you finish the detour from the choice you decided.

FAST FORWARD: There will be a fast forward on each leg of the race, with the exception of legs 11 and 12. You may only use it once in the entire race. I will post a fast forward clue along with the first clue. As soon as it is taken, I will post FAST FORWARD taken. If you go for the fast forward, but it is already taken, it could hurt your team. In order to receive the Fast Forward, I will post a task that you must complete (with Fast Forward as the subject).

YIELD: There will be several yields this entire race. You may decide if you want to yield or not. You may only yield once the entire race. A yield will add a +30 minute penalty to the team of your choosing.

INNERSECTION: There will be several intersections on this race. You will automatically be teamed up with the team closest in time to you. You must then complete tasks together until further stated.

U-TURN: This was a clue that was created in season 1. It has been modified since last season, however. There are 3 U-Turns in the entire race. You may use your power to U-Turn once along the entire race. If you wish to use the U-Turn, it will be public (like a yield). Ay U-Turned team must do both detours and receive time for both as well.

***I have gotten rid of many of the bizarre twists that occurred last season (Such as Force Yields). This is to ensure that the race is as similar to the real Amazing Race as possible.

Types of Penalties:
Roadblock: 4 hour penalty
Detour: 2 hour penalty
Route Info: 1 hour penalty
Transportation (wrong type of): 30 minute penalty

Legs Thus Far:
Leg 1: Washington DC - Riga, Latvia
Leg 2: Riga Latvia - Zagreb, Croatia
Leg 3: Zagreb, Croatia - Stockholm, Sweden
Leg 4: Stockholm, Sweden - Bangkok, Thailand

Dave: We are old. But we are smart.
Harold: We can do well even though we are so old and out of shape.

Leann (22) and Mary Jane (27): Best Friends from Omaha, Nebraska.
Leann: I expect the boys to look at us girly girls like the typical dumb girls.
Mary Jane: Were young. Were pretty. Were not afraid to flirt.
Leann: SHES not afraid to flirt. Im preferred to win fairly and squarely.

Adam (26) and Frank (27): Firemen from the Manhattan area. - Played By Vicdemort
Adam: We are used to harsh conditions. Were the fittest team here.
Frank: Adam and I helped in the 9/11 tragedy. We can do anything.
Adam: *nods approvingly*

Alana (21) and Debra (76): Granddaughter/Grandmother from Indianapolis, Indiana.
Alana: Just cuz Im young dont mean Im stupid!
Debra: Learn to speak English, Alana.
Alana: YOURE SO HURTFUL!

Mac (31) and Mike (29): Brothers from Indiana. - Played By Splatt
Mac: Were very smart.
Mike: We COULD be more athletic, though.
Mac: I think well do fine

Gina (24) and Don (26): Dating from Los Angeles, California.
Gina: *giggles* We are, like, so great together!
Don: Well never fight! We love each other too much!
Gina: *twirls hair* And we can lie well to! Were actors!

Karla (35) and John (39): Married Parents from Sarasota, Florida.
Karla: We work very well together. We expect to be in the mid-pack.

Rob: There has always been a sibling rivalry between us. Now, in this race, well need to work together.

Shawna: Lyn and Karlyn INSPIRED us.
Deena: We have to do well for them.

Mandy: Were young and we have a TON of energy.

Patty (42) and Sandy (44): Baseball Moms from Sacramento, California.
Patty: Were not the fittest team.
Sandy: But we dont plan on making enemies.
Patty: The most hated teams never win, afterall.

Haley: Were marathon runners. Were quick on our feet.
Jenny: Haley and I are both Grad-Students. Were very smart too.
Haley: The other teams can think what they want to think, but we are not stupid.

Monte: Were rich so we will automatically do superb
Alexander: Correct, Monte!
Monte: Were intelligent and rich. Money is all that matters to us.

Donatello (33) and Margie (29): Friends from Oregon.
Donatello: Were good friends. Well work together well.

Jose (23) and Johnny (24): Separated Friends from San Jose.
Jose: We are friends sometimes
Johnny: Only when hes not a pain in the a**
Jose: We will work together well when were not fighting

Taylor (21) and Sydney (21): Friends from St. Louis, Missouri.
Taylor: Chances are, were the youngest team here.
Sydney: And were also females.
Taylor: People probably wont see us as threats until they see us race.

Sean (25) and Damien (26): Brothers from Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Sean: Were hard workers and all we want is to win this.
Damien: And we wouldnt mind a romance.
Sean: Damien, youre married already.

Cho (28 ) and Ami (26): Sisters from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. - Played By KL
Cho: We moved from Japan when Ami was 4 years old. We moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where we were affected by Hurricane Katrina. Ami and I are used to living in hazardous conditions.
Ami: Together, we speak 5 languages. Were very smart and were in decent shape.
Cho: Were not just racing to win the money. Though we need it, we are also racing for the sights and friendships we will make and see.

Purple = Team Taken.

Other Information:
There will be 12 legs; 8 Eliminations, 3 NELs, 1 TBC. 15 minute quote bonuses will be given to whoever can post the best quote each leg. It will be used for the title. Quotes define your team and make the race more fun. Also, you will get a certain amount of money at the start of each leg. Leftover money will carry over to the next leg. There may be no more than 4 all male or all female teams.
