DETOUR!
Fly or Hike?

In Fly, teams must search the jungle foliage for five birds and use a dichotomous key to identify them.

In Hike, teams must take a five kilometer hike along the edge of the Orosi River until they reach the next clue box.

Fly Task: Give me the scientific names of the following birds.
1. Caribbean Flamingo
2. Emperor Penguin
3. Canary
4. Guianan Toucanet
5. Toco Toucan

+15 points for the first to submit all 5 correctly, +10 for every person after.
However, the third team to finish will get terribly lost and this will add an extra +10 points.

Hike Task: What lake does the Orosi River drain into?

+25 points for the first to submit, +5 for every person after.
However, the fourth team to complete the task will have a nasty fall that will cost them an extra +5 points.

You have 48 hours to complete one of the tasks.
