Hello everyone!! The long awaited Popo's The Amazing Race Fantasy Challenge 2 is back!!

Another reason why you should join this game is simple - There will be never seen before tasks which i think are pretty interesting!

How to sign-up?

You will need to form into teams of 2 with any forumsnet member in order to run this race. Once you have decided who you want to go onto this race with, put your names on the sign-up list provided.

NOTE: If you've played in the first season, you can't signup with the same partner again.

In order to secure spots for this game, you will also need to send in the following info via PM to me -

Race Information - Overview

10 teams of 2 will only be required to compete in this race. There will be a total of 11 legs, with 3 non-eliminations legs.
There will be 2 Fast Forwards, 2 Yields, 2 U-TURNs and 1 Intersection placed on this race.

P.S: Subjected to changes. But shouldn't change much.

Point System

In this game, youll race against time. You aim is to check-in to the pitstop within the shortest amount of time, because if you are last, you will be eliminated.

This season, i'll be doing the Detour and Roadblock awarding of minutes differently for every leg. There won't be a fixed amount of minutes each team will be getting for finishing a task in any particular position.

More Rules & Regulations

1. A team who choose not to complete a Roadblock or Detour will be smacked with a 4 hours time penalty.

2. Any team who check-in last on a NEL will encounter a Speedbump at any point of time on the next leg of the race.

3. Any team who fail to follow the instructions stated in the clue will receive a penalty.
For e.g - If the clue states to WALK to the Pitstop and the team chose to take a BUS, then the team will receive a 30 minutes penalty plus the time they gained from taking a Bus.

There will be other ways to lose and gain minutes as well while during the course of the race.

- Buying a map
- Not following instructions, wrong information given.
- Not enough money to pay for what you need
- Driving in the wrong direction
- Vehicle breakdown

There are many other examples, but these are just some i can think of for now.

Glossary

Detour

A Detour is a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons.

Teams must first decide which task they would like to do. To complete the Detour task, both team members have to complete it. (in this case, both team members have to send in the correct answers to me via instant messaging)

Roadblock

A Roadblock is a task which only one team member may perform. However, no team member can do more than 5 Roadblocks on the entire race.

Teams must first decide who should do their Roadblock for their team. After they have decided, the team member will have to complete the Roadblock task before they will receive their next clue.

Fast Forward

A Fast Forward allows teams to skip all tasks and proceed directly to the Pitstop. However, a team can only claim the Fast Forward once throughout the entire course of the race. There are 2 Fast Forwards in the entire game.

Yield

Any team who choose to Yield another team at the Yield Point will have the Yielded team assessed a 30 minutes penalty.

However, a team can only use their Yield Power once throughout the entire course of the race. There will however, be no limit to the number of times a team can be Yielded. There are 2 Yield Points in the entire game.

U-TURN

Any team who choose to U-TURN another team will have the U-TURNED team complete the other Detour and have the additional minutes that they receive from the Detour added to their total pitstop time for the leg.

However, a team can only use their U-TURN once throughout the entire course of the race. There will however, be no limit to the number of times a team can be U-TURNED. There are 2 U-TURNs in the entire game.

Intersection

The Intersection requires each team to pair up with one other team and perform all tasks and make decisions together until further notice. Should there be no other teams present when a given team arrives at the Intersection Route Marker, they must wait there until another team arrives. Teams are free to choose their partner team if multiple teams are present.

There is only one Intersection point in the entire game.

Pitstop

The final destination for each leg of a race, at which point a team must check-in. The last team to arrive at most Pitstops will be eliminated from the race unless it is a non-elimination leg. A Team generally will leave the Pitstop 12 hours after they check-in; for instance, a team that checks in at 9 am will leave at 9 pm.

NEL Penalty

Since there will be 3 NELs, i will make this race's NELs penalties more fun. =)

1. 30 Minutes Penalty

Any team who arrive last on a NEL will receive a 30 Minutes Penalty if they do not come in FIRST PLACE for the next leg of the race. They team can only check-in after their penalty time is up.

2. Speedbump

Any team who arrive last on a NEL will encounter a Speedbump at any point of time in the next leg of the race which could hinder their progress to move on in the race. They will have to complete the task and have the additional minutes added to their total pitstop time for the leg.

3. Money

Any team who arrive last on a NEL will have all their remaining cash taken away from them and not only will they start the next leg of the race with no money, they will also not receive any money given to teams at the start of the next leg of the race.

1 of each of these penalties will be the penalty for the NELs.

I hope Ive made this clear enough. Please post your doubts on this thread and hopefully youll be able to find a partner which you can go onto this race with. If you are unsure who you want to go with, please feel free to request for a partner on this thread and hopefully you will be quickly paired up with someone else and be able to put down your names on the sign-up list!

I will need 10 teams of 2, and you do not have to have a pre-existing relationship to run this race. Lol!

Signups will be left open till i have 10 teams of 2 who have all sent in the required information into my Inbox in order to race together.
