TAR1 - Pit Stop Power - PLEASE LOCK IT MODS

Hi, I've thought of a new idea for a Race game. It's not an alias game like TAR:TUT or TAR:MAMF. It is a voting game like the TAR Popularity Contest. We shall start with TAR1. Instead of you deciding how well teams do on every clue like in the TAR1 Redo right now, I decide what happens to them, until the last clue of the leg. So, I will be basing my decisions on how well I think the teams could do on things like driving or physical/mental tasks etc, using the real TAR1 Route.

However, when it comes to the final clue of the leg, directing teams to the Pit Stop, I need you guys to help. You must vote in this thread giving out 25 points to the teams. You must give more points to your favourite teams, however each team must receive at least 1 point each. Points are good, and the team with the most points completes the journey to the Pit Stop in the fastest time, which is a great help.

For example, if the most points team gets 38 points, with the second best team getting 34 points, then it will take 4 minutes longer for the second best team to travel to the Pit Stop than the best team.

I want your opinions on this before I start. Is it a good idea or no?

OK let's go through the leg.

The TAR1 Teams start in Central Park, New York. They are instructed to fly to Johannesburg, South Africa. They are only told that and the names of the flights. I shall decide how well the teams cope with deciding which airport to go to and how fast they get there. The first teams that get to the airport get the first flight.

First Flight landing at 6:00PM:
1. Rob and Brennan
2. Joe and Bill
3. Frank and Margarita

Second Flight landing at 6:30PM:
1. Kim and Leslie
2. Paul and Amie
3. Matt and Ana
4. Lenny and Karyn

Third Flight landing at 7:00PM:
1. Nancy and Emily
2. Pat and Brenda
3. Kevin and Drew
4. Dave and Margaretta

Upon getting there, teams go by taxi to Lanseria airport. For taxi clues, I base my decisions on how well teams got on with taxis in the real race and friendlier, younger and luckier teams have a better chance.

4. Nancy and Emily
5. Kim and Leslie
6. Joe and Bill
7. Dave and Margaretta
8. Kevin and Drew
9. Pat and Brenda
10. Lenny and Karyn

The Charter Flights to Zambia results:

Charter 1 - landing at 7:00AM:
1. Frank and Margarita
2. Rob and Brennan
3. Joe and Bill

Charter 2 - landing at 7:20AM:
1. Paul and Amie
2. Kim and Leslie

Charter 3 - landing at 7:40AM:
1. Lenny and Karyn
2. Matt and Ana

Charter 4 - landing at 8:00AM:
1. Nancy and Emily
2. Dave and Margaretta
3. Kevin and Drew
4. Pat and Brenda

Teams then drive to the Knife's Edge, then onto Batoka Gorge. Here is the order of how fast they are at driving. I base driving decisions based on the age of teams and how well they did for driving in the race. I have combined the two clues into this list, but not for my decisions.

=3. Paul and Amie
=3. Lenny and Karyn
5. Kevin and Drew
6. Matt and Ana
7. Joe and Bill
8. Kim and Leslie
9. Nancy and Emily
10. Pat and Brenda

I decided that at the Knife's Edge Route Marker Dave and Margaretta go for the FF and claim it, so they are not in your vote this leg.

Next comes the Detour. All teams choose AIR, the zipline task and all take around the same amount of time to complete it.

Now you come in to take over. The clue says "Make your way to the Pit Stop in Songwe Village."

You must give at least 1 point to each team, and you must give out 25 points. The more points the better. Here is the template to copy and paste:
