Melo and Louie arrived first at 10.21am departs at 10.21pm.
Melo: Fly to Mexico City, Mexico. Once there, make your way to Metropolitan Cathedral and search for your next clue in the crypt. You have $150 for this leg of the race.
Louie: To airport, quick! Yay! It’s a race for a million bucks!
 
Fernando and Emiliana and Alan and Beatrice started the leg within the next 15 minutes and tried to catch up with the front pack.
 
All 3 teams are now on their way to the airport.
Melo and Louie arrived at the airport first.
Louie: 2 tickets on the earliest flight to Mexico City, please.
Lady: Here.
Fernando and Emiliana and Alan and Beatrice also managed to get onto the same flight to Mexico City through Bucharest, Romania.
 
Flight arrives at Mexico City at 6.15am next day.
Alan and Beatrice hurried to the taxi stand and got on a taxi first.
Beatrice: Metropolitan Cathedral please! Please bring us there as soon as possible.
Fernando and Emiliana and Melo and Louie followed right behind them.
 
Alan and Beatrice arrived at the cathedral first.
Beatrice: Into the crypt? Yuck! Could you just go in and fetch it?
Alan: Ugh. Alright.
 
Alan brings the clue out of the crypt.
Alan: Route Info. Using the compass provided, make your way on foot to a marked newspaper stand with a compass bearing of 175 degrees. Ops, so I need to go inside again and fetch the compass.
Beatrice: Here, 175 degrees, to the left.
Melo and Louie and Fernando and Emiliana arrived at the cathedral saw Alan and Beatrice left.

Beatrice: Whoops. The magnet isn’t pointing at zero. Let’s head back to the cathedral and start over.
Alan: Oh my god. We are wasting a lot of time.
 
Melo and Louie and Fernando and Emiliana found the newspaper stand and received their next clue.
Louie: Purchase one of the newspapers and search for your next clue on the middle page. You may need to search for more than one before you find the clue.
Melo: May I have a copy of the one there on the left please?
Louie: Middle page. Shopping mall advertisement? Is that our next destination?
Melo: Don’t be silly. Let’s search another newspaper.
 
While Melo and Louie and Fernando and Emiliana are searching for their clue among lots of local newspapers, Alan and Beatrice arrived at the cathedral and going to the right direction this time.
 
Emiliana whispers: Hey, have a look at this. Route Info: Make your way to Museo de la Luz and search for your next clue.
Fernando: Nicely done! Let’s get moving.
Melo and Louie tried to have a glimpse at the newspaper Fernando and Emiliana found the clue but they have brought it with them.
Melo: Evil!
Alan and Beatrice arrived at the newspaper stand and were delighted to see Melo and Louie.

Fernando and Emiliana got into a taxi and are making their way to Museo de la Luz. However, they were stuck in a traffic jam with locals hurrying to workplace.
 
Desperately, Melo and Louie found themselves searched through all the newspapers but failed to find any sign of a clue while Alan and Beatrice found theirs quickly, leaving them alone at the newspaper stand.
 
Fernando and Emiliana’s taxi had a great driver and he told them that their destination is just few blocks away. They could get off the taxi and walk there.
Alan and Beatrice asked a local where the Museo de la Luz is. Some kind-hearted kids led them towards the museum.
Fernando and Emiliana arrived at the museum and collected their clue.
Fernando: Route Info: Pay a visit to Francisco I and search for your next clue.
Fernando and Emiliana hurried back to the taxi they took and asked the driver if he knows the place.
Taxi driver: Huh? I’ve never heard of that place? You sure it’s in Mexico City? I’ve been driving here for over 30 years and never heard of it.
Fernando: OK. Thanks anyway.
Emiliana: So are we leaving Mexico City?
Fernando: Not sure.
 
Melo and Louie finally found the clue and are making their way to Museo de la Luz.
Melo: We wasted so much time and money!
 
Alan and Beatrice arrived at the Museo de la Luz with the help of a local. They collected the clue and asked if the local if he knows where Francisco I is.
Local: You are talking about the Francisco I buried at Revolutionary Dome?
Alan: Wow! Thanks indeed! Can you bring us there?
Local: Sorry, I am in a hurry. Here’s the address of the Revolutionary Dome. Good luck!
Beatrice: Oh. Thanks for your time. I am sure other teams couldn’t figure it out!

Fernando and Emiliana figured out the clue is actually directing them to the Revolutionary Dome while Melo and Louie arrived at the Museo de la Luz.
 
Alan and Beatrice caught a taxi to Revolutionary Dome. Fernando and Emiliana are waiting for a taxi and Melo and Louie are puzzled by the clue.
 
At Revolutionary Dome, Alan and Beatrice collected their clue.
Beatrice: Route Info: Fly to your final destination, Boston, Massachusetts, the United States. Once there, make your way to the Children’s Museum and search for your next clue.
Beatrice: Back to the United States for the final sprint!
Alan: Taxi!
 
Fernando and Emiliana arrived at the Revolutionary Dome.
Emiliana: Final destination! Let’s hurry, we have a lot to catch up.
 
Melo and Louie stopped and asked a police about the Francisco I and he directed them to the Revolutionary Dome.
 
Now all 3 teams are making their way back to the airport for a flight to their final destination, Boston.
 
Alan and Beatrice bought tickets for a direct flight to Boston.
Fernando and Emiliana arrived too and bought tickets for the same flight.
Melo and Louie found out that there is only 1 ticket left for the flight other teams are taking. They took it and signed up on the stand-by list.
 
Alan and Beatrice and Fernando and Emiliana board the plane.
Melo: Please, let us in.
Melo and Louie waited at the gate and saw people boarding the flight.
Flight attendant: Melo and Louie, you are in.
Louie: Thanks god!
 
Alan and Beatrice and Fernando and Emiliana cursed when they saw Melo and Louie onboard.
 
All 3 teams are now on a direct flight to Boston.

Alan and Beatrice who took a seat near the exit depart first when the flight landed, followed by Fernando and Emiliana and Melo and Louie.
The teams are now making their way to Children’s Museum by taxi.
 
Alan and Beatrice found the cluebox at Children’s Museum and grabbed their clue from it.
 
Sad news is that this museum has been closed down. But the good news is that you are going to do good deeds by giving some toys from this museum to an orphanage. Carry a box of toys to the orphanage with the address attached in exchange for your next clue.
 
Alan: Good deeds before being a millionaire. I would donate part of it to the orphanage if I win the million bucks.
 
Fernando and Emiliana and Melo and Louie arrived at the museum in a minute after Alan and Beatrice departed.
 
Alan: I regret not buying a map at the airport. Now I am so lost and have no idea where the orphanage is.
Fernando and Emiliana and Melo and Louie faced the exact problem and felt really helpless.
 
All the teams are now walking back the way they went to the museum. When Beatrice was about to ask the driver of a bypassing car, Alan spotted the orphanage right in front of him.
 
Alan and Beatrice enjoyed a warm greeting as they deliver the box of toys into the orphanage. The care lady hand them their next clue.
 
Detour: Opera or Opt for it
In Opera, make your way on foot to Longwood Opera. Once there, one team member must get changed into costume and perform a series of acts on stage. Another team member need to stay in the seat and guess what message your partner is trying to deliver. Once you made a correct guess, you will receive your next clue.
In Opt for it, make your way on foot to Royall House. Once there, you must serve a family of 4 for twenty minutes on various aspects, dining, cleaning, gardening, etc. When time is over and if the family is pleased, you will receive your next clue. If the family thinks your performance is unsatisfactory, you will need to redo the task.

 
Alan: Seems Opt for it is quicker.
Beatrice: Let’s go for it then. Good luck in final Detour!
 
Fernando and Emiliana choose Opera while Melo and Louie choose Opt for it.
 
Alan and Beatrice arrived at the Royall House. They turned an hourglass over and started working. Alan went for some gardening while Beatrice heat a pot of soup.
 
Fernando and Emiliana arrived at Longwood Opera. They decided that Emiliana will be performing and she gets changed in the changing room. She performs the first action on stage. It was Etch The Stone Detour in Leg 6. Fernando looks really confused.
 
Melo and Louie arrived at the Royall House and started working. Melo helped in dusting and Louie joined Alan in gardening.

Emiliana finally figured out a way to hint Fernando by pointing to her leg and wave 6 fingers. They finished first part of the task.

Next mime act was leg 3’s Roadblock, transporting food through crowds. Emiliana did the trick again and hinted her partner on leg 3. However, Fernando doesn’t seem to remember what they encountered in leg 3.
Melo split some soup onto the floor accidentally and they need to clean it up before they can continue with the tasks.

Melo and Louie couldn’t finish their tasks within the time limit, they choose to switch to Opera.

Fernando and Emiliana arrived at the park and found the cluebox.
Emiliana: Final Roadblock!
 
Roadblock: In this Roadblock, one team member has to recall what they have encountered in the race. There are 13 ‘sculptures’ in the field, they all appeared in the race in various legs. You need to rearrange them into order of appearance. There are 5 marked grids on the field of 13 grids. There are hints on the type of tasks they appeared. Pick the first letter of the objects and rearrange them for a meaningful word. Then you need to get a key with the correct handle and unlock the cluebox. You need to wait for 10 minutes before having another attempt.
 
The 13 objects are:
Leg 1: Gold piece (Detour)
Leg 2: Tea cup (Fast Forward)
Leg 2: Incense (Pit Stop)
Leg 3: Khaen (Speedbump)
Leg 4: Shovel (Roadblock)
Leg 5: Rickshaw (Route Info)

Leg 8: Wine glass (Route Info)
Leg 9: Horse carriage (Fast Forward)

Melo correctly placed the 3 statues for the last 3 legs.

Fernando figured out what’s wrong and corrected it. He now joins the pack on the anagram solving.

Fernando tried his very best to catch up and he spell the word ‘stick’ successfully. Both Alan and Melo found a key.
Fernando searched the pile of keys and found one he thinks it’s correct.
Alan unlocks the cluebox with his key and grabs the clue!
Melo puts the key into the keyhole, however, it couldn’t move a bit! He now needs to wait 10 minutes before trying another key.
Fernando unlocks the cluebox with the key!
Melo found a more stick-like key from the pile and cursed.
Alan meets Beatrice and rips open the clue.
Route Info: Forget about your backpacks run few blocks due west to the Gropius House, Finish Line of the race. First team crossing the Finish Line wins 1 million US dollars.
 
Alan: Wow! It’s the real sprint now! Run for the 1 million dollars!
 
Fernando got the clue too and hurried Emiliana as he ran out from the park.

Phil: 33 days, 6 continents, 15 cities, over 50,000 miles, Alan and Beatrice, you are the official winners of the Amazing Race. You have just won 1 million US dollars! Congratulations!

Fernando and Emiliana, you are the second team to finish the Amazing Race. Congratulations.
 
Melo and Louie, you are the third team crossing the Finish Line and have successfully finished the entire race, congratulations.
