TARA 2 - EPISODE 11 DISCUSSION

Another win for Adrian and Colin, checking in 1st after battling the fast forward with Marc and Rovilson.
 
There was a yield in this leg and it was used by M/R against the dancing moms but it was not enough to enable Paula and Natasha to catch up.
 
The rest of the standings are:
 
1. Adrian and Colin
2. Marc and Rovilson
3. Pam and Vanessa
4. Anne and Dianne
5. Paula and Natasha - eliminated

WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE PAULA. THE PRETTIEST ALWAYS GETS ELIMINATED. oh well.. i really got quite nothing to say about the results, even the Yield couldnt save them. But i wondered. They lagged behind 5 hours in Czech Republic and caught up. Last week, what made them lose so much timeHuh?
 
I hate this race when they feature A/C and M/R together. but i was happy A/C got the FF. the stupid belt method was useless. and they thought it was a better idea than counting one by one.  
 
Kudos to the moms. they are so calm yet competitive. I duno which team will get into the top 3. Imagine another female team from Msia wins again.
 
The ambassador beside Allan is cute too!! And i think i am a bit too crazy over pretty girls.. Tongue

:laff: If the male teams win, predictable. If Ann/Diane win, it will be repetitive. if Pam/Vanessa win, it will be repetitive somehow/less likable.

None taken. It will be refreshing for TARA, but we were already expecting either M/R or A/C to win the Race from Leg 3, so it will be a predictable win.

Having a female team winning would be like "not again?". Having a male team winning would be like "They always win".
 
Actually, any team can win except M/R. That can make me happier after the Tk/rachel win that made me slightly disappointed.

Episode 11: What can I say?
 
Good episode, many surprises and twists and turns. That makes a good design. An FF followed by a Yield... wow. I was surprised by that. I think surprising viewers with unexpected twists makes a good viewing.
 
1. The fight for the FF was a good one had it not been spoiled by the episode preview. Following fans like me saw Rov doing the roadblock task and therefore knew as soon as I learned that that bridge tussle was for the FF that A/C will get it. AXN error again.
 
2. Come to think of it. A/C won the FF but they probably lost more. Alan said that it was only the first FF. If there are only two more episodes, then the next leg will have another FF but they are already are barred from taking. Assuming that M/R will get it, then they will have to battle it out with the girls for the last two finale slots. Hence a larger threat for elimination. Both A/C and M/R don't need the FF at this point.
 
3. Is it possible that the yield was not pre-designed but placed there to make the show more exciting? To help teams catch up? In any case, I liked it there. Sorry to the mums (who displayed remarkable attitudes), and if I were M/R i would have used it too at that point.
 
4. Okay lets go on to another country. Most likely back to Asia. Hopefully to Mongolia or Cambodia or to Laos or Vietnam. I prefer tha finale country to be any of those so that no one gets a hometown advantage. Beside let them go to a less popular but as exciting, beautiful and unique as the richer ones. See you in Sri Lanka! Lol.
 
5. Bye P/N I rooted for them but lets face it: they're cute, lovely and all but race wise weak. I still adore Paula.  
 
So there: My want to win list lost my top favorite so I have to upgrade A/C.
   M/R, P/V, A/C
 
   My most likely winners stay:
   p/V, M/R, A/C
