I missed the first bit of this one the first time it aired... I came in after Rousseau already had him tied up, and he was remembering Nadia coming into the prison.
 
I think this tells alot about the person Sayid is... he's "tough Republican guard" but he also has a concience.  
 
Also, the other thing I noticed, when they heard the sound outside, she said "one of the bears"... there's more than one??  Shocked
 
There were lots of clues in this one I didn't notice before, the thing about watching the ones he was with, makes me think something made them all her group go mad or sick.  
 
I'll post a transcript of the whispers... they're really hard to understand.

oh wow, i didn't even know the whispers had words, i just thought it was meant to be not understood.

I don't remember  the whispers!!! I actually fell asleep during the last 20 minutes and just saw bits and pieces.
Good thing I taped it for DH, now I have to watch it again when he does  Wink

The whispers are right at the very end when Sayid leaves to go back to the camp.  There are more whispers later in Outlaw with Sawyer.  They're the only two so far that have heard whispers.
 
What I found interesting, that I didn't notice before, were the flapping sounds during the whispers... like a giant bird.. Wink
 
As for Rousseau, she's a recurring character.. she shows up again in Numbers (Hurley's episode) and in all three parts of the finale. I think those are the only ones.
