Things of note in Fire + Water (interview with Cuse and Lindelof)

Locke getting irate - loss of control (remember the anger management classes??).

Easter eggs: "Signage" on the Battersea Powerstation has a little sign, that was smaller than anticipated - Widmore Construction (write it down, says Lindelof) You'll be hearing more about it in the future... not the same as Hanso, but could be "related."

THIS WEEK: The Long Con

Long con in con business refers to setting someone up to bring them into a long term con situation (according to Lindelof, sort of like this show!!.. LOL)

Asked about comments on Alex in Hunting Party - it wouldn't be wrong to assume that if Mr. Friendly is shouting "Alex" that it relates to Rousseau's Alex.

Asked about the boss being the same (Randy) - Very good observation, it is the same character. Said Hurley felt bad about Randy loosing his job when the meteorite hit the Chicken Shack. So, he gave him a job at the box company.

Fire + Water, was it a shadow with the dove, or was it a "second black dove" - It was a shadow, and was supposed to look like the painting from the beginning - and look as though the dove came out of the painting...

Randy - he was Locke's boss last year in "Walkabout." Then he showed up again this year as Hurley's boss this year at the chicken place in "Everybody Hates Hugo."

discussion of the "medical hatch" - what's the name? "The Medical Hatch"... LOL.

When someone dies, they're dead... no one coming back as a "zombie"... joking about "year 7"... will be "Lost: Zombies - Everyone we've killed off comes back as zombies".. laughing...

Eko cutting off his "goatee" what was the symbolism... didn't really explain it, because they wanted people to react to the symbolism in their mind... That Adewale and Michael Emerson might have two different ideas, and react in different ways... left vague to get the response and symbolism for each person to creat their own... make sense??

Preview: The Whole Truth - Sun/Jin story, "One of the best episodes of television you will ever read".. (i.e. subtitles). The first five minutes are entirely in Korean. (can hear phone ringing in the background.. LOL). Sun has a secret (other than the fact that she speaks English). Learn more about Henry Gale (who may or may not be an "Other"). Has a "Nice, warm emotional feel."

Questions: Tarp Harp!! Where did all the tarps come from?? Lots of tarps for shelters, where did they come from.
Answer: Large planes carry freight, carrying things like boomerangs, and there was a large container of crates on the plane... matter of fact, Australia is the Tarp Capital of the World... (hilarious!!) Lindelof notes that the "throw" around Cuse's legs is actually a "tarp"... LOL.

Question: The Cave - Since finding the hatch, does anyone still live in the caves or are they all back on the beach?

Answer: Hatch offers some housing, but "Islanders" are starting to build more permanent shelters... easier to deal with two locations than three... Lindelof thought the caves were depressing.. why live in the low rent cave condos when you can have beach front property...

Question: (In all caps, so he read it yelling.. LOL) MILK - Milk carton with Walt on it, was he missing before? What's the story?

Answer: Walt is missing (hence the milk carton). Walt is a big storyline for end of the year, not going to let the Michael/Walt thing drag on all year.

Comments about dreams: Hurley's dream - subconcious, Hurley didn't know he was gone, but appeared missing in dream... Dreams are going to become more prevalent.

These are really hilarious, if you get a chance to listen, check one out... Lindelof and Cuse are so amusing!! Have decided they should do the podcast from a glass booth at Disney World... LOL
