Are the castaways pulling a Prison Break? Scheduling-wise, it looks that way. In a Tuesday-morning conference call, ABC entertainment president Steve McPherson announced that Lost will launch its third season with seven consecutive new episodes, temporarily cede its time slot to the Taye Diggs mid-season thriller Day Break, and then return for an uninterrupted run in January or early February, Variety reports. On your mark, get set... discuss.

i dont like that, y cant they just have it one straight line of new episodes till the finale, maybe for suspense but thats pushen' it.

thats gonna cost them a lotta viewers.
 
People will forget about them after a 3 month break
 
22 episodes, do what 24 does and run then 22 episodes in a row

They way they are doing it now is a nightmare and a half.  They are losing ratings like mad, so they have to do something.  I'd rather have them all in a row too, but barring that, this is a better solution than what they have in place now.   It makes more sense to me that they rerun Lost during the break, to hopefully get new people hooked, but I can accept this.

either way works for me..but then i'm the addict that has every episode on my computer and watch them over and over
 
what I loved, today on the LOST mailing list I'm on, someone said they liked this much better then they could watch their season 1 DVD's during those weeks??  UHhhh.. isn't that just about the same as having season 1 reruns??
