Had you actually applied for Survivor or were you seeked out and recruited for this especially diverse season?

If you had applied, how many seasons had you applied for before they picked you!

When the Aitutaki tribe lost their first Immunity Challenge, Becky was up on the chopping block. Did you have any idea that Yul and Jonathan will both work on Cao Boi and Jessica to change their votes so that you will be voted off?

I applied for the amazing race. Acutally went to an open audition here in the bay area. they called me back for semifinals, but not for finals. so that was sad Sad

but then one random night they called me to apply to survivor, and i did.
even though you are "recruited" - meaning they come to you, you dont go to them, you still have to apply and do a tape and interview and sell yourself. yes, it's easier bc you jump all the way to finals, but it's not a 100% that you'll get on the show.

Well it all happened so quick. Like in 4 hrs. We got back from the challenge, and Oz gave a look and I knew we'd be going for Becky. I overheard Cao Boi talking to Flica ab Becky and i jumped in and said Oz and I are in. Let me go get Sundra. SO that was the 5. We were set. (that is where that one shot of me hugging Flica and Sundra near the water? remember that??) So we cooked and ate and i started feeling sick (fever, chills) so i went to lie on the raft, meanwhile, Yul got to Caoboi, Jon got to Flica and got them to flip. That was quick work. Im thinking 1 to 2 hrs. Flica flipped when CaoBoi flipped.
Once we got a feeling for what was happening, Oz and I went to talk to Flica and Caoboi and the others came. we started talking for like 10 mins, and the producers came and said to shut up, that we had to go to tribal. so that was it. i ran out of time. it was all toooo fast. all i needed was 1 hr and i think i could have been OK.

Were you surprised when you were voted off?
No, buy i was hoping that Flica and CaoBoi realized that by voting me off, they were giving the power to Yul and Becky and they were voting themselves off.

It's too bad you weren't shown more since I really was starting to like you on the show. Undecided

If Becky had been voted out instead of you, I'm pretty sure that Yul wouldn't have won.

Hey, I have a question! Do you ever play or are interested in online survivor games? (Such as bwind22.suddenlaunch.com.)

But then they needed a "fiery latina" for survivor, so they called me. The loved the fact that i was not a model/actress, and that i had been born in Peru and spoke spanish. My girl is only 1/2 latina, so she didnt get the call.
If i were on the jury i would have voted for Oz of course.
I think that if i had made it past ep3 I would have been golden... but then again the mutiny probably wouldnt have happened because Jon and candice would have been voted off instead of flica and cao boi
it would have been a whole diff ball game, but i would have stuck by Oz til the end.

I find it hard to believe you're not a model. Have you been contacted since, to be a model or act in anything? You handled yourself quite well on Letterman.
