We have some great nominees here. I admit I haven't watched a lot of movies this year, but I might try getting ahold of some of the movies and watch it before the awards night.

Yay for Jennifer Hudson!

I find it interesting that Jennifer is nominated for best supporting, but Beyonce didn't get recognized in the best actress... which by the way I believe will go to Helen Mirren for The Queen.

Best picture I'm guessing will also be The Queen, or possibly Letters from Iwo Jima... personally, I think it should be Little Miss Sunshine.. that movie was great!  Also glad that the kid from Little Miss Sunshine got a nod for best Supporting Actress.. she was awesome!!!

Jennifer Hudson for Best Supporting Actress. I already started watching AI6 again for her sake after i hear her doing so well.. if she didn't win, i'm going to be so damn disappointed.

Well, I'm disappointed.

No Rudy Youngblood nomination for best Actor. How does that work? Superb piece of acting and they totally over look him.

No Mel Gibson for director. Are they crazy? Did they even watch Apocalypto?

Probably not. They wanna punish Mel for his drunken rant.
