I like it too, but have only seen 3 shows. It could get better or worse as time goes, but for now, it's caught my interest.

I got 3 shows in and had to quit. It just got too dark for me, and I'm more prone to having nightmares when I'm pregnant.

Allison DuBois
as Consultant/Real-life Medium

Allison DuBois unique story, the inspiration of the hit NBC TV show Medium, started during her graduating semester at the Arizona State University while interning at the District Attorneys office. Soon after, researchers at the University of Arizona documented her ability through a series of tests in which she scored exceptionally high on accuracy and specificity. This validation diverted Allisons plans from becoming a prosecuting attorney to a commitment to be a professional medium/profiler.

In her short career, Allison has conducted over 1,200 personal readings. In those readings she helps to ease the pain that people carry from the effects of losing a loved one. She continues to support science as a medium used in the research of the afterlife. She has spent the last four years participating in various tests for the University of Arizona. Allison takes an active role in the direction and execution of research as a member of the Veritas Research Program Mediums Committee and is a member of the Medium Advisory Board for the Forever Family Foundation.

Allison donates her time to missing/murdered persons and criminal cases for agencies across the country. She is contacted by law enforcement and families to help find missing and murdered people. Allison also assists in jury selection for District Attorneys Offices. Each of these is a means for her to give back to the world for being so blessed.

Allison maintains close ties to the inspiration of the show Medium as a consultant.

Allison first book, Dont Kiss Them Good-Bye, published by Simon & Schuster will be on shelves March 15th, 2005. The book tells her story in her own words.

I'm really liking this show......we've had about 5 episodes now and I'm really getting into it!

I hope allisons book will be available here......seeing as the Show is rating quite well I imagine the publishers will release it here!

My wife and I love this show too. The characters are easy to relate to and the casting and writing are good so far.

Yeah, it is a little dark at times but I think of it like a Steven King book. The show gets into peoples heads and shows their darker sides that they tend to hide from the real world.
