Well it's officially summer.  I think it arrived a bit before noon EDT.  
 
for our Aussie friends - does this mean it's officially winter?
 
Is it hot enough or cold enough for you?  It's definitely hot enough in Toronto.  You can tell - the smog alerts are on the rise.

It's waaay past hot enough for me in my corner of the world! I hate summer, and if I were a richbitch, I'd have headed to the far north two months ago LOL. Summers here are like the sauna from hell.  Wink

I'm with Liberty, not looking forward to summer.  I don't fare well in the heat.  I prefer the spring & fall.
 
It's hard to believe a few weeks ago, I was wearing a winter jacket in the Near North of Canada.

My favorite time is fall, but I like summer.  Especially now that I have kids.  We fill our days with zoo trips and parks.  The library is a summer treat and the kids all congregate in my yard for popsicles.  Tongue
 
I never liked the heat until I had my boys.  Now I just love sitting on the deck watching them run through the sprinklers and into their tiny pool... You should see my one-week-old tan!  1 down and 8 to go  Sad

I used to love, love, LOVE summer ... But then I moved to Chicago for awhile, and I didn't love summer so much anymore ... It was WAY too humid for me ... I never liked winter there either ... WAY too cold ... but now I'm back on the west coast ... this is going to be my first summer back, and I'm pretty excited to start loving summer again   Smiley

I love summer.  Left work early Friday afternoon and went to visit my parents who have a beach house in Connecticut.  LittleRoo loved the beach - we spent the first day of summer with our toes in Long Island Sound, digging in the sand.  Woo Hoo!

Addams..it is summertime in Can. Hotter than blazes...but much better than the cold Cool I was talking to my sister on the W/E and she said it was 60 the with the Humidex..she goes out the door and her glasses fog up! So I guess that we don't have it so bad afterall!
