Violence?  Shouldn't everybody be happy that others survived the crash?  And at least Sawyer (albeit sort of), Michael and Jin are still alive?

From the previews, it looks to me like the violence occurs between Ana Lucia and Sayid, I'm guessing over Shannon's shooting...

What bit?  oh you mean taking out they guy in the parking lot?  She was bent on revenge..
 
Or was it because she was pregnant?
 
Well, now I know why Ana Lucia has this tough exterior shell.  
 
I really wish there was more to this episode, but I guess this was really more about raising your spirits episode, instead of about suspense.

I think it was because she was pregnant.  I wasn't expecting that "pregnant" comment at all.  I knew when they let him go she was going to kill him, but didn't see the pregnant part coming.
 
I agree, I wanted more from this... was more or less a backstory for Ana Lucia.  It was ok, just not what I was expecting.  I wanted more interaction between the two groups.  Though I did get all weepy at the end with Bernard/Rose and Jin/Sun reunions.. Cheesy

I enjoyed it, and I'm glad they had some good interaction.  I was actually more touched by what Sayid said to her than anything else in the episode, although there were several touching moments in it.  Certainly this episode's main purpose was to create sympathy for Ana Lucia, so viewers didn't just hate her, to make her more than just a cold hearted "b".

It definitely was a good episode Cool
Ana Lucia is one to be wary of, as she is a bit trigger happy whatever the reason!
I read that Shannon is much in demand aside from "Lost".
Wasn't she the only one from "Lost" on the AMA Awards Show?

I really liked how Syaid handled AM's story also, I was almost in tears when he said "we're both already dead".
 
I think that we will see some serious bonding between the two of them in the future, They seem more tortured than the other survivors.
