Greatest Hits - May 16

This Charlie's flashback episode.  It was originally said to be titled "Truth about Lying" and has since been changed.  If Charlie's to die, this is the one where it's speculated it will happen.. Sad

3.21 - The Truth About Lying / The Greatest Hits (Charlie Centric)

Rescue is finally at hand for the survivors of Oceanic 815, but first
someone must reconnect an underwater sonar beacon. Despite his
foretold death, Charlie volunteers. Copious rumors suggest that
Charlie dies in this episode, but some new rumors I've been hearing
suggest that this is a huge misdirection and there will be another
highly unexpected major character death instead.

Not much is known about this episode, yet, other than it is Charlie centric.
Dominic Monaghan has stated that Charlie is tortured in this episode and to
escape the pain he withdraws into himself to write a song. The song may
appear again, in a different form, before the end of the season.

Hmmm...here's my guess of the possibilities of who dies:
- Charlie
- Desmond (I think it's possible...)
- Locke
- Sawyer

Some MAJOR character has to die.  It won't be Kate or Jack as so much drama leaks out through the two of them.  That leaves Sawyer or Locke.  I think it could also be a surprise if Desmond dies.  Charlie, however, NEEDS TO JUST DIE!  There have been, what, 6 episodes on his fortold death?

I don't think Charlie is going to die.. it's been too obvious for the past months.. I think TPTB put the foilers out there to throw everyone off... for me..

Cooper (already gone)
Locke (will be gone in the finale)
Kate
an "Other" (not sure which one)

and... last but not least.. the spoilers are saying "Hurley has a big part in the finale" and "a fan favorite will sacrifice himself for the others"... Dude, I don't think this is looking too good for Hurley

I loved this episode.. I was in tears with Charlie telling everyone goodbye thinking he was going to drown... and then his "top five list" for Claire.. and giving Turniphead his family ring...  Cry
I love Charlie...

This episode was a great one. Looks like from the previews that Desmond goes into the underwater watch to help Charlie. My thoughts Charlie lives and Desmond dies.

The two hour finale looks great. We will probably all be suprised with what happens.

I am caught up now. (I hate work by the way, it takes way too much time away from my TV viewing)

I didn't see the preview for the finale but based on this episode I also think that Charlie lives. I think that 2 of the "shooters" will be ones that die and that maybe Hurley stays behind and gets killed in the middle of the clash between the Losties and The Others....

I hope Russou survives!  She is SO cool!  I think that Charlie lives and Desmond dies.  I bet the only point of the flashes of Charlie dying is to cause Desmond to die which will probally happen sooner or later.  Can't wait to see the shooter women in the underwater station, wanna see what that's all about!
