The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America has announced that it will produce 26 episodes of a new series featuring the young boy Davey and Goliath, a talking dog whom only Davey can hear.

The church's predecessor, the United Lutheran Church in America, produced 65 episodes of the Davey and Goliath show and six specials from 1960 to 1971. The shows were made by Art and Ruth Clokey, who also created Gumby. [/quote]
