Teams completed the last Route Info in this order -

Genius and Amarillo (5 Minutes)
JP and username (10 Minutes)
Heather and Popit (15 Minutes)
Ruth and wgal (20 Minutes)
MK and Xochitl (25 Minutes)

MK and Xochitl arrived first to find a Detour.

Detour: Math or Science

A Detour is a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons.

In Math, teams will have to take a taxi to the Steklov Institute of Mathematics and answer a series of Mathematics questions correctly before they will receive their next clue.

Each team member will now have to play a game of Maths Nightmare and send me their respective scores (which should be different). Once the teams are done, they will receive their next clue. Teams will be given minutes based on the time they took to complete this Detour, as well as how well they have gotten for their combined scores in this game.

In Science, teams will have to take a taxi to the Russian Academy of Sciences and answer a series of Chemistry questions correctly before they will receive their next clue.

Each team member will now have to play a game of Chemistry for Beginners and send me their respective scores (which should be different). Once the teams are done, they will receive their next clue. Teams will be given minutes based on the time they took to complete this Detour, as well as how well they have gotten for their combined scores in this game.

After a week of piling work at school, the host finally find some time to update this game.

Genius and Amarillo (1314 Points)

Teams completed the Detour and received their next clue.

Route Info

Teams must now pick a driver who will then drive them to the Triumph-Palace Building. Once there, teams must take a lift all the way up to the top of the building where they will find Popo and the ninth pitstop in the race around the world.

The last team to check-in here, may be eliminated.

Popo: MK and Xochitl, you are team number #1!
MK: Finally!
Xochitl: *hugs MK*
MK: *blushes*
Xochitl: There you go again! Roll Eyes

Popo: As the winners of this ninth leg of the race, both of you will receive an extra 20% of the money at the start of the next leg of the race.
MK: Cool!

*Ruth and wgal running in at 10.25am*

Popo: Ruth and wgal, you are team number two to arrive.
Ruth: Yay!

*JP and username arriving at 10.30am*

Popo: JP and username, you are team number three.
JP: Wow, we survived this leg!
Popo: In fact, you guys will be moving up to second placers due to the 10 minutes deduction in pitstop check-in time both of you won on the last leg of the race.

wgal: What? That means we'll be moving down to third.
Ruth: This game is rigged!
JP: Nah, it isn't... *winks*

* JP and username final check-in time is 10.20am, while Ruth and wgal final check-in time remains unchange.

Once again, it's down to two teams.

Arriving in fourth place at 10.40am...

Popo: Heather and Popit, you are the fourth team to arrive. However, both of you will receive a 30 minutes penalty for not coming in first in this leg of the race due to your NEL penalty on the last leg. Your time penalty will start now.
Heather: This sucks.
Popit: We're so doomed.

*5 minutes later*

Popo: Only 25 more minutes to go...

*10 minutes later, Genius and Amarillo came running in*

Popo: Genius and Amarillo, you are team number #4. (10.50am)
Amarillo: What a close shave yet again!
Genius: Phew!

Popo: Heather and Popit, i can now check you in.
Heather: Oh no!
Popo: Heather and Popit, you are the last team to arrive.
Heather: We figured... Sad

Popo: However, the good news is this is a non-elimination leg and both of you are still in the race!
Popit: AGAIN?
Heather: Who cares! Heather and Popit lives another day!
Popo: But you know the consequences for not finishing first next leg, don't you?
Popit: 30 minutes penalty? We can do it!
Heather: That's right!
