Arriving in first place, JP and KL found a Detour.

Detour: Food or Drink

In Food, both team members must finish a traditional Kazakh dish before they will receive their next clue.

Teams attempting this Detour will have to PM to me the name of the dish as seen in the picture above together with the meaning of the name of the dish.

In Drink, both team members must finish a traditional Kazakh drink before they will receive their next clue.

Teams attempting this Detour will have to PM to me the name of the drink as seen in the picture above together with the meaning of the name of the drink.

Teams have 2 days from now to complete this Detour. The harder Detour will be the one with more teams attempting it.

I was the last team eliminated and that was like 5 months ago it seems like. But if KL did quit this forum like she says she did then JP is pretty much screwed. Shocked

Teams completed the Detour and received their next clue.

ROUTE INFO

Teams must now drive themselves to the Palace of Peace and Reconcilation.

WARNING: The last team to check-in, will be eliminated.

*Popo waits at pitstop*

Popo: JP and KL, you are the first team to arrive at 9.48am. As the winners of this leg of the race, you have both won a 15 minutes time credit which can be used on any other teams (including yourselves) on the next leg of the race. (Remove 15 minutes from overall time)

Popo: Ruth and wgal, you are the second team to check in at 9.59am!

Popo: Heather and Popit, you are the third team to arrive at 10.01am. However, both of you have been marked for elimination and as you two did not finish in first place this leg, you will now receive a 30 minutes penalty. Please wait by the side of the mat as your penalty time starts now, i can only check you two in once your penalty time is up.

*5 minutes later*

Popo: Heather and Popit, you still have 25 minutes more to go.

*10 minutes later*

Popo: Only 20 minutes more to go, tormenting isn't it?

*15 minutes later*

Popo: Half the penalty time is gone, will the remaining two teams arrive within the remaining time?

*20 minutes later*

Popo: 10 minutes more!

*25 minutes later*

*Popo sees a team arrive*

Popo: Genius and Amarillo, you both are the third team to arrive at 10.25am.

*4 minutes left*

*3 minutes left*

Popo: Will MK and Xochitl arrive in time?

*2 minutes*

*1 minute*

Popo: Heather and Popit, i can now check you in. After the penalty time, you are now officially the fourth team to check in at 10.31am.

Popo: MK and Xochitl, you are the last team to arrive at 1.52pm.
MK: I'm sorry i didn't do the Detour.
