Finale Summary: WHO WILL WIN?

The flight landed in San Francisco, the final destination city for Popo's The Amazing Race Allstars Fantasy Game. With all 3 teams neck-in-neck within each other, Genius and wgal kept their lead from last leg and raced out of the airport first to grab the first taxi, with Ruth and Amarillo as well as Heather and TARfan1 not far behind.

As Heather and TARfan1 took a fork road, it gave them the advantage as their taxi driver took the right path and thus allowing them to arrive at the Old Mint in second place, before Ruth and Amarillo as well as Genius and wgal.

Opening their clue, Heather and TARfan1 found a final task testing how well each teammate knows the other. One Team member had to enter the vault assigned to their Team and answer the four questions displayed on the wall: In the opinion of your Team, which other Team is the least trustworthy, has the best sense of humor, is the most overrated, and is the one you most want to stay in touch with? Their answer would create a four-digit combination code corresponding to the Teams chosen for each question that they then had to program into the provided safe locking the clue inside. After leaving the vault, their partner would enter the vault and have ten minutes to match their teammate's answers to the same questions. If they were successful, the safe would open and they could leave immediately. If they failed, they had to continue trying until the ten minutes expired.

TARfan1 was first to start on the task and started contemplating on the questions..

TARfan1: "Who is the least trustworthy?", that would be Ruth and Amarillo cause we Yielded them.
TARfan1: "..best sense of humour?", that would be MK and t.
TARfan1: "..most overrated?", ahh i don't know! It should be LittleBoy and TylerC!
TARfan1: "..want to stay in touch with..?", i know that! It sure will be Odvesims and Peetah, because Odvesims always wanted an all-female team to win!
TARfan1: The code would be 3846!

Genius and wgal was next to arrive and wgal was first to start off with her part of the task.

wgal: "Who is the least trustworthy?", LittleBoy and TylerC!
wgal: "..best sense of humour?", LittleBoy and TylerC!
wgal: "..most overrated?", LittleBoy and TylerC!
wgal: "..want to stay in touch with..?", LittleBoy and TylerC!
With her obsession with LittleBoy and TylerC, wgal entered her code which is 4444.

Ruth and Amarillo arrived and Amarillo finally started on his task.

Amarillo: "Who is the least trustworthy?", Heather and TARfan1! They Yielded us for no reason!
Amarillo: "..best sense of humour?", that would be us!
Amarillo: "..most overrated?", LittleBoy and TylerC!
Amarillo: "..want to stay in touch with..?", Redwings and beepboop!
Amarillo: Sweet! 2345!

With Amarillo, wgal and TARfan1 all done, it's now their partner's turn to give the combination code a try.

Heather: OMG! I hope she didn't give me some random numbers to decode!
*TARfan1 sniggering, i did. :laff:

Heather: *tries and tries but to no avail*

Meanwhile...

Genius: I better hope wgal does something logical, like not choosing the same one team for all the questions. Roll Eyes

*after 50 tries*
Genius: I'm pretty sure she won't do that, i won't even bother trying those same number codes! I know wgal well enough!

And at Ruth...

Ruth: Oh mann! This is so tough!
Ruth: Who cares about the questions...
*started trying 1111, 2222, 3333, 4444, 5555, 6666, 7777, 8888, 9999, 0000*...
Ruth: It doesn't work!
*started on another set of random numbers...*
Ruth: 1234! *ERROR*
Ruth: 2345! *CORRECT*
Ruth: OMG! I LOVE AMARILLO! Kiss

Just as Ruth rushed out to meet Amarillo, Heather finally got her code as well and she collided with Ruth while on the way out. The 2 girls screamed and hurried to their respective partners and quickly left the building. Meanwhile, Genius only have a minute left before he can get out of the place without solving the code.

*a minute later, Genius completed his task*
Popo: How fast.

The three teams are now taking a taxi to the Botanical Gardens and about to cross the finish line. As Heather and TARfan1 hopped into a taxi with the stakes higher than ever as Genius and wgal left the vault one minute later having not figured out the combination but with Ruth and Amarillo only seconds behind them. With all three Teams within striking distance to win the prize, each hoped their taxi driver knew the shortest route. Genius and wgal hoped the green lights they kept hitting would be enough to vault them to the big prize.

As previous eliminated teams - LittleBoy and TylerC, Redwings and beepboop, Odvesims and Peetah, Alexander and sun7kid, MK and t, Avarim and username, David and Elizabeth as well as Acalithos and verysmiley cheered on the final 3 teams, one team eventually ran through the grounds of the Botanical Gardens and crossed the finish line to win the million dollar prize awarded by Popo.

Popo: Nearing 10,000 page views, 47 pages of posts, 22 players and 2 teams-changing twists...
